Jurassic World Evolution – A Solid Dino Park Builder with Some Rough Edges

Gameplay
Jurassic World Evolution delivers the fantasy of building your own dinosaur theme park, complete with breakouts, storms, and the occasional sabotage. The management side is straightforward, with contracts from Science, Entertainment, and Security keeping things moving. The thrill of releasing a T-Rex or watching raptors hunt never really gets old. However, the management depth is fairly light compared to other tycoon sims, which can make long sessions feel repetitive once you’ve mastered the basics.
Presentation
The game shines in visuals and atmosphere. Dinosaurs look fantastic, animations are detailed, and the islands are lush and full of life. Hearing Jeff Goldblum reprise his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm adds authenticity and charm. The UI is clean, though sometimes a little clunky when dealing with multiple islands and facilities. Game has serious performance issues, the game will randomly start using 100% off available CPU. The only known workaround is to disable hyperthreading/SMT in BIOS because FDev refuse to acknowledge or fix the issue.
Review: Jurassic World Evolution

Playtime: 100+ hours
I’ve played a lot of park management games, and usually I get bored with the campaigns pretty quickly and switch straight into sandbox mode. With Jurassic World Evolution, it was different – I actually enjoyed playing through the campaign. For any Jurassic Park fan who has ever dreamed of building their own park, this game is a fantastic experience. Managing the park, researching new species, and seeing the dinosaurs come to life is incredibly satisfying and immersive. The only downside for me is the DLC policy. It often feels like certain dinosaurs were intentionally left out just to be sold later as DLC. Each pack only adds a handful of dinosaurs, so if you want a diverse park with many species, you’ll need to spend quite a bit more. As far as the story DLCs go, there are two – I can only truly recommend the Jurassic Park DLC. That said, the base game itself is absolutely worth it. Despite th...
odd but not aeanbon
Wasnt expecting to have so much fun with this game, fun zoo-ish management game, lots of dinos (Jurrasic Park style rather than more realistic), worth getting on sale
Excellent park builder game, and it's even better since it's Jurassic Park themed. The campaign is outstanding in JWE, and it's very fun to go through. It's awesome seeing your parks come to life, watch chaos unfold, or stress yourself out in challenge mode. JWE has so many things to do, and you'll be playing for ages if you want to complete everything. The DLC content is phenomenal as well, especially when it comes to Claire's Sanctuary, Secrets of Dr. Wu, and Return to Jurassic Park. If you're into park building and Jurassic Park, I 100% recommend, and if you're interested in JWE2 or JWE3, I would start here and work through the games in order.
jurrasic world evolution is a great game for any age! I have had a great time playing this so far and would 100% recommend for others!
