Lethal Running

Put it on your wishlist, and wait until the bugs are fixed. Update 12/4: After the "full release" and many bugs fixed according to the change log, I tried to give the game another shot. Unfortunately, it now simply crashes after the startup intro. Also, it still says "early access" in the opening screen... so that's not encouraging. I feel like this game had a lot of passion put into it originally but in the latter half of development, when it's time to focus on bug fixes and polish, it seems the devs ran out of time, money, or energy and just pushed it out broken and unfinished. Original EA review: There's a solid game underneath here, but because the game is very tough, the bugs create a lot of frustration: - Sometimes, the UI just doesn't work -- buttons can't be clicked, or it freezes. Especially in the crafting menus. I ran into at least 4 variations of this, including the screen being greyed out as though a system menu was up. - Sometimes, the game will crash upon retry or wh...

Sounded promising, but the combat is just terrible and ruins the experience. Might have been better as turned-based combat. edit: Okay, so I played about 30 minutes and I fought some rats. Sometimes I'd click to attack and I'd miss constantly.. the frames don't seem right. Dodging doesn't feel right either. So, I tried using a controller instead of a mouse and it was even worse. Sorry man :( On the up-side, I like the idea a lot. But, I think either the combat needs to be tweaked or a change to turned-based combat might make things more manageable. Also, the art is pretty amazing. Nice pixelcraft :)

hmmm... the latest update was July 2nd, think the devs gave up on this one? still pretty fun though for a Rogue Like Running Man style

It's difficult, but it's been in development since 2015 and despite a lack of polish (it is in early access), it's got a very good vibe and a lot of potential. What it needs now is more people to play to help find bugs and give feedback and for that it needs some exposure. Definitely give this game a try if you want to get into something that has a ton of potential, it's got survival elements/old school charm and that feeling that if you stick out the difficulty and figure out how to survive, it could be a very rewarding and fun experience, not only to play but to watch talented players play. I'm not going to explain the game too much here, that's what the store page is for. All I can say is if you're on the fence, give it a chance. I think these people deserve it.

Sure it seems cool, it's tough, but sadly, I my played a shory time. Because if you aren't online, you can't play it, and there is no "online only" warming, so fuck this game.

It's a big buggy, with the resolutions often seeming to change between levels and crafting sometimes bugging out. But it's been fun playing it so far

Haven't had much time to play it yet, but was pretty cool when it was released in EA. I think it is great that the devs are still at it and releasing updates over a year later. I am looking forward to playing the game again. Grab the game, have some fun, support the devs.

I haven't actually played the game yet, but I was able to get past the video intro and into the game. [strike] Don't waste your money. The game crashes right after the video intro. Tried 3 different systems and with the same problem. If anyone has been able to get it to work please let me know. I will delete/edit this if the game gets fixed or theirs a workaround available.
