Umineko When They Cry - Answer Arcs

Finally got to read the second arc and I honestly loved AND despised it. I obviously have a lot to praise. Firstly, I got to enjoy the "Umineko vibe" again, which is something I was very looking forward to. I adored the chaos, twists and mysteries, especially with the addition of new characters (Dlanor and Erika in particular <3) This arc also greatly deepened my affection towards Bern and Lambda, I'm glad they got much attention. Moreover, the expansion of the soundtrack is immaculate, Umineko has likely the most impressive OST I've encountered so far. Overall this arc provides plenty of fascinating information and entertainment, but reaching the credits of the 8th episode somehow didn't make me feel satisfied at all, as if nothing got revealed lol. [h1]Is it a trick? Or is it a magic?[/h1] Even after finishing all the game, I'm still finding myself wondering, despise the fact that this is supposed to be the "Answer Arcs". Is it because I still have not enough love to 'see' it? Is it because I just don't want to accept the truth? Or maybe, this is not about that 'single one truth' at all, it's not about "how dunnit" or "who dunnit", but about... [b]the heart[/b]. After all, [b][h1]We cannot disregard the heart[/h1][/b]

The story and the music are awesome. Besides the bellow cons, I still think it's worth. Some (all?) music loops are poor, there are a few sprites for each character (sometimes a bit off with the story), and some characters don't have the "new" drawing style. Definitively can be improved from a technical standpoint, but still a solid mystery story with god music on it.

One of the most powerful pieces of writing created in the 21st century, the characters, the story, the message(s), everything in this visual novel is crafted with the utmost care and love from the author, and goes beyond just being a piece of fiction for many people, and inspired them to become people able to see with love. If you are interested in a story that will forever stay with you after you read it give it a chance, it's long, yes, but PLEASE do give it a whirl. I dedicate this review to my beloved witch, Beatrice. and the rat.
