hype moments and aura with the side of good writings if it was a game more people need to tap in
DMC 1: Very janky. Story was not bad. If you can't deal with old game mechanics don't play it. DMC 2: Improved game mechanics. Horrible Story. If you can't deal with a terrible story don't play it. DMC 3: Improve game mechanics in some aspects whilst removing some things. Good story. Play it.
dmc1 and dmc3 are fire but the second one is bum cheeks its so ass
Devil May Cry-(8.9/10) a really great first entry in the devil may cry game series great bosses good music ehhh voice acting but mostly great gameplay Devil May Cry 2-(3.7/10) IS ASS in fact is so bad i would suggest you to watch a YouTube explanation video on it if you wanna know what happnes Devil May Cry 3- (9.7/10) one of the best action games ever is really good in story AMAZING GAMEPLAY good voice acting and awesome characters its a most play considering its a prequel so you can play it first.
Devil May Cry feels like a PS1 title with how the camera is stationary, but joystick direction is relative to the camera, unlike in Silent Hill, so it works. Learning its combat system was difficult after getting used to Alice: Madness Returns, but I was engaged the first time I played it. Its combat system is awkward, and there are places where the camera changes are inopportune, but with practice they can be mastered. I do wish I had control of the camera, but it’s only an issue in some areas. The game story is minimal, and lots of character moments happen off-camera which should have happened on camera. Still, it has just enough story to make the action meaningful. It's fun. Dante is confident but never cocky or annoying, which makes him likable. _____ Devil May Cry 2: combat isn’t as good this time. There are no unlockable combat moves to help you perform combo attacks. Just sword and gun. In fact, combos seem to be broken—I was only ever able to earn one when damaging large...
I’ve played Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 earlier this year. Honestly, I was convinced that any other game I’ve played this year, whether a new game or an old game from the backlog, wouldn’t top Expedition 33 as this year’s favorite. Much to my surprise, I was mistaken. Devil May Cry 2 serves as the pillar of action games. You may have seen the passionate fanbase discuss the guns extensively – with great reason. The gunplay is the best part of the game. An aspect that isn’t brought up as much is the guns’ ability to extend combos with a cadence that no rhythm game could ever match. There is a raw and surreal allure to holding down the shoot button to keep the enemies stunlocked in the air. It’s honestly quite meditative. It’s akin to arcade rail shooters. Arcade culture may have died down in recent times, but the spirit and ethos of that era are alive in DMC2. This immersive quality of the gunplay shrinks the distance between Dante and the player. There were times that...
dmc1 is pretty good, would recommend dmc2 sucks ass, do NOT play dmc3 is amazing play it right the fuck now
I refunded the HD Collection after my controls randomly inverted during my play through of DMC 3, but I was able to purchase this again on my PS5, so I'll give my review for both console and PC. As I just stated, I had to refund the PC version of the collection because my controls suddenly broke? Every input would for some reason open the menu and send me to the files section? No clue what that was about, but it ended up making the game unplayable. Overall, Capcom did a pretty bad job at porting these old games onto PC, it feels like they really didn't try and make these games playable. With a mouse and keyboard, you will have the hardest time of your life trying to do simple combos or even move--I spent like five mins trying to understand what did what and it ended up just annoying me so I switched to a physical controller. It was much better, but I'd rather play with a mouse and keyboard. Also may be a me thing, although my setup is fairly optimized, but I don't think I got more than...
DMC 1 is fun, if not a little dated. DMC 2 was terrible. Made it to mission 11 before I quit. DMC 3 so far is incredible.
