The best adventure game I have ever played. I come to play it after i finished Dreamfall The Longest Journey. I needed more of the story and this game grabbed from the beginning and delivered till the end! Low time is recorded in Steam because I have a physical copy in which i beat the game.

It's holding up great for a game this old, although do yourself a favour and use the HD mod (it's rather easy to install). Pros: The story is good for the most part (I think some stuff was a little halfassed/pointless) Good sound for the most part. Visually it looks good, maybe except for cutscenes which are quite ugly. The game is relaxing for the most part, you're almost never in a hurry, ambient sounds are really nice to chill to. You can't soft lock yourself i.e. forget to take that one item that you'll need 20 hours later (the game doesn't allow that). Cons: Pixel hunting i.e. no option to highlight what the player can actually click on and activate.
Playing the game This is a great game. It's very artistic and imaginative with a great story and interesting characters. You need to take your time and really explore everything. If you don't enjoy that aspect of game play then it's not for you. It's not easy finding everything so you need to have patience and click on every possibility and explore everything. I like to do it without cheats so sometimes I get stuck but I simply go back to every location and try every UI option. Problems Running on modern Windows If you are having problems running in Windows 10 or 11 the main problem I experienced was with the YES/NO dialog not showing correctly. The best thing to do is type Y for yes. For example, when you quit you will see a white rectangle and it seems like you can't do anything and then perhaps restart your computer.
