Playing this game felt like traveling back in time to being 10 years old in the late '80's playing Konami's Gradius with my NES hooked up to the living room TV in my parents' house. In my mind I know that this game is a modernized version inspired on Gradius with a lot of improvements on gameplay, graphics and QoL features, but in my heart it was the exact same game I remembered. Beautiful.

Great retro Shoot'em'Up. Be sure to have a look at the website of Locomalito, the developer. There are several other great freeware games there, all in retro style. Also check out Maldita Castilla EX by the same developer on Steam, especially if you like Ghosts'n'Goblins/Ghouls'n'Ghost.
