Re-downloaded the game after years because I decided to achievement grind games that have been collecting dust and I have no drive to finish this one. Graphically, even by 2018 standards, it was behind on appeal as other anime IP games had already figured out how to bring 2D to 3D (Funny enough, those games include ones also published by Bandai Namco but with different developers). Even then with the 2D there is in the game, such as event CGs, they are subpar. But most mind boggling is the fact that scenes from the anime, that could be injected in place of lower quality 3D scenes, are not used. Such as when Death Gun first appears. Gameplay is the most insulting. If I'm noticing that not only are the mobs the same in every next part, but also the bosses? And the NPC enemies are as janky as my own allies? The dungeons look same-y? Then there is a problem with the variety. Usually, a cheap way to hide that is giving things completely different appearances even if they attack the same, ...

Now I can't play this Sword Art Online on PC. This sucks. So if you want to play this game that means no you can't. So it's been confirmed now that ON Xbox one s and PS4 and PS5 that Sword Art online fatal bullet you need to restart the consoles several times and eject the disk and then put it back in to get the game to work at all. Last night on my Xbox one s. I had to do this
This game is very chill I have fond memories of playing this for hours on end on an old account, and getting back into it as an adult it's honestly more solid than I assumed it would be. the graphics hold up well, I can't speak on the story since neither as kid nor adult have I finished it, but the mechanics are solid, it's a very laid back and relaxing turn your brain off shooter and I appreciate that in a world of hyper intense pvp shooters where you don't get a second to breathe, I'd say it's worth a cop if you find it on sale or just really love GGO
I'm not gonna waste my time writing a lengthy review as the game already wasted my time. It didn't feel good to play, gunplay was floaty, the weapons are lazily slapped together, and the grind is a grinding slogfest. I would recommend you save your money.
For a single player game ABOUT an MMO, its about the best we could really ask for. It definitely captures the mechanics spirit described in the anime at least for the use of the bullet circles. Its pretty short but the boss fights are generally pretty interesting and offer decent challenge. Lots of build options, but you end up having to depend a LOT on your mindless NPC allies to keep you alive. If only they turned this into a proper MMO.
Gun play is not very good. Almost no direction. Kind of disappointing even for the $6 i paid for it
Very fun gameplay. Story was decent but nothing amazing. Just about to get true ending and then on to the dlc's! Would highly recommend for SAO fans. If you arent a fan, then this is still decent but there maybe better options?
hmmm
Game requires a whole technical reset up to even run, with modules being blocked, servers not able to be reached and more. You don't even need that much work just to start the game up on much older games. Never even got to play the game, as it refused to run. Going to try and get a refund. I'd caution anyone that wants to get this to look up what you need to do for it to work on pc before buying, even on a sale.
i play this game since 2019 before i have my own income to buy this game, i have fun, playing the story and the game style, even after replaying many times, grinding etc. Overall i love it. the only drawback is, my support character is so stupid :D the enemy NPC have better movement than it. Especially when my character is dead, Arfa-Sys activating AED skill but then just stand somewhere waiting to be killed too. it made other NPC did not reviving my character even if it was near me. I prefer bringing Asuna as Support rather than my own perfect build Arfa-Sys.
