Honestly really great game. Beside the glitchy visuals, the game is inching closer and closer to the perfect singleplayer zombie survival game. The in-depth customisation of everything really helps build immersion and literally every playthrough you have will be different. Plus, the dev is very active and very interactive with the playerbase, you can check the discussion board and see how he responds to tonnes of people's suggestions. I went from being a "Rick" like leader from the walking dead, to a solo survivor travelling the city in a old ambulance filled with supplies and weapons. Honestly, with a few small tweaks (Translations, Visuals, Zombie AI behaviour) this game will be perfect. It is just a matter of time.

https://youtu.be/mThQ4Q2-Oyg So I am giving this game a thumbs up overall review, but be clear the game has a ton of issues that you need to be prepared for. First is the awful and limited inventory system, and cumbersome interface. The devs really need to rework the current system. Also thirst and hunger drop way to fast (like in many survival games). Second is the terrible in game issues. From building not drawing in, zombies not drawing in, to falling through floors, and even falling through the map. Sometimes save files can also get corrupted. This game is in early access for a reason and there is a ton of work to do here. Combat is also clunky with animations that often don't play. Also the grapihcs when they do draw in are ugly as hell. So why the positive reivew you may ask? Well the game actually has a full tutorial. and there is a lot of mechanics already in game as well as the NPC's. You can explore, craft and loot, set traps, trade and fight and build. There is a lo...
Turned an 18 wheeler semi-truck into a mobile base complete with a bedroom, dining room and green house with my potato plants all nicely lit up with lamps filled with 9-volt batteries. If you like very in depth games with a lot of content already in, then check this game out! Its a bit buggy but with updates rolling out every 1-2 months this game is worth the money.
Update: Nothing has been fixed. Infact, Its got worse. Im really bummed, i love this game, but its completely unplayable, things randomly disapear or get destroyed without reason. Reloading the game can remove a series of items, some of which may have taken you time to get, like gas or what ever. Ugh. Stay Alive: Apocalypse It absolutely pains me to leave a bad review for such a great game, however, I will not reccomend this game in its current state, at least until many bugs have been addressed. If these bugs are addressed i will happily give it an 8/10 and highly reccomend this game. You wake up in a random building or outside to a randomly generated open world where many people have been turned into zombies but others are resistant to the infection and you must survive, eat, sleep, take a crap... and deal with other rando peeps who may steal your stuff or try to enslave you. My first playthrough started rather rough. I woke up in my apartment to the sound of zombies in the stairw...
STOP BUYING ABANDONED TITLES PEOPLE!!! It was an okay concept but development stopped a long time ago. ABANDONED!!! To the Dev, Either debug what you have or pull it from the store and stop scamming people just to line your pockets, You know damn well its not playable for any real amount of time in its current state. DO NOT BUY!!!
Happy to say im the first to own and review this promising game! So far its pretty good with lots of unique gameplay elements, and a neat npc community system. Some of the dialogue isnt worded properly like in the tutorial it says cloths instead of clothes. Aiming with a gun or just using weapons ingeneral is a bit clunky. Some of the sounds in game arent great like hearing the same footsteps over and over again is a bit repetative. But it does seem to have some potential is playable at the moment and with some updates and a year or two of hard work i can see this game succeeding and doing well. Hope to see updates frequently and keep up the good work! Soon i will twitch stream this at the twitch "Zombient" so be sure to be on the lookout for that!
This game is a difficult one to review. It has a lot of good ideas, but they are often poorly executed. I'd like to make a list of positives and negatives, starting with the positives. Positives:

The way the game handles furniture and other movable objects. You can pick most things up, as long as you are strong enough to carry them. This includes most furniture in the game. If you feel that your front door is a tad weak, you can put a drawer in front of it. If you want to build a fortress out of a regular house, you can. You can stack furniture on top of each other, and you can put them anywhere you want. Cover all windows with furniture and zombies will have a harder time getting inside. This includes the interior of vehicles. When you open the trunk of your car, you are not met by an inventory screen - instead, you have to physically put your items down into the trunk, and you can put as much as can fit in there. You're not locked down to a grid of inventory...
I watched a 2 year old video of 30 minutes of gameplay of this game. To say it looked rough would be an understatement. But, the video was 2 years old. So I thought it must have improved since then. It hasn't. The game is a sloppy mess. The attack animations don't play correctly most of the time. The translation is bad. Also, the developer put out another game, "Streamer Daily", while claiming he is the only one making this game. Why are you making another game when you have this one that is barely working and people have paid for? This has scam written all over it.
So i was looking for a game with a positive review ratio because usually thats a good indicator of whether or not this game is doo doo or nah and i love this genre. I bought this game after reading some of the reviews only to find myself playing a clunky, exceedingly slow( i mean sloooooow) paced game. I almost felt like most of these reviews were not very honest (fabricated) something ive never thought of about any game on steam. The reviews are NOT a good indicator whether or not this game is good or not in its current state 1/24/19. Look for some gameplay footage somewhere and ull see what i mean.
So far from what I see the game is Early but playable. The art style in this game is kinda like "Borderlands" The movement is clunkly and the tutorial is a must for new players. There is alot of stuff to learn in this game to help you survive. All in all its like any other EA games (theres bugs and glitches, clunky this and clunky that) so with that being said if you want to help out the dev(s) with your feedback and support then join the community the 25% discount is really nice making the game affordable and a ease on your wallet for this early state of a game.
