Maze Bandit is a trap based puzzle game, ported from Moblie (iOS/Android) where it was sold under the same name. If this is the type of game your interested in, it might suit your gameplay style to have it on a mobile device rather than a PC. It runs smoothly and does not feel awkward with keyboard controls, but playing on a keyboard compared to a touch screen does mean it is easier on the PC. The game is 90 levels long and it took me less than an hour to complete the first 30 stages. The stage difficulty did not seem to ramp until I hit stage 30 as well, so if my gameplay stays at the same rate then there would be about 3 hours of single player gameplay here. the game try to autenticate "upps, please check your internet connection" or "something went wrong, try later", this error is showing when i try to start the game, game dont start, month ago, no reaction from the devs, befor this i could play the game a short time.

This game's servers no longer seem to be operating. So you basically can't play this. Don't buy it, which I hadn't.

Everything I said below WAS true at the time of review. Now, unfortunately, the server seems to be permanently down and the game is therefore unplayable. Obviously, a waste of money until it comes back up. I hope it does. --------------------------- This game is AMAZING! I've paid $10.00 for games that didn't give me as much joy or satisfaction as this little $2.99 game (and I paid 89 cents on sale too). You have to stick with it, the first 20 or 25 levels are really simplistic but that's necessary because the game is teaching you the basics. Then it gets HARD, fast, and the real thrill is going up against mazes created by other players! Could easily play this for hours without getting bored.

addictive as hell

like the puzzles, also hate the puzzles. very relaxing most of the time, until my last braincell takes a coffee break, and I'm stuck. But no worries, the cell comes back and I am back. Did a long break from playing, but since i have it in the library, just pull it up and enjoy.

Their server is down and you can't play it any longer.

Update: The game has stopped working for me. It will not load when I try to start it. First, let me say I really like this game. The game play is great. The game is also very challenging, but not in a way that makes you want to quit it for good. I have not yet reached the last level, but I have no intention of stopping until I do. I love the fact that you can make custom mazes for others to play. Some of them are very difficult, which adds to the challenge of the game. The reason I cannot recommend the game is because of the broken achievements. The achievements for collecting princesses are not being awarded to players. This flaw makes the game appear as though it promises things it does not fulfill. It promises you an award of achievements you cannot gain. This issue has been brought up by the community but has not been addressed. If it is addressed, I would happily recommend the game to others.
