About This Game

Tower of Time is an incredible adventure packed with over 50 hours of gameplay, hand-crafted levels, and a rich story told through cinematics. Taking classic RPG gameplay to the next level, Tower of Time features flexible character development, thousands of pieces of loot and equipment and the complex and tactical Arrow-Time real-time combat system.

Important note: Combat in Tower of Time is different. Each battle is designed like a tactical puzzle. If you want to enjoy combat, you need to pick the difficulty which is adequately challenging to you skill set and adjust it as you progress. On highest difficulty level it is very demanding and requires you to find the synergies between classes, skills and the equipment.

Engaging story of epic proportions

Immerse yourself in a world where technology meets magic with devastating consequences. Gather a group of diverse champions and lead them through the tower. Hundreds of lore books and scattered pieces of information slowly reveal the history of Artara as your party of adventurers approach their fate.

Deep tactical real-time combat with pause or slow-time

Take ultimate strategic control of each battle with the Arrow-Time combat system that slows the action down to a crawl or pauses it. Plan ahead and position your party where you need them for ultimate effect. Use Arrow-Time to react to new threats, deploy devastating new spells and attacks and counter enemy attacks. No two encounters are ever the same. On harder difficulties - look at each battle as a tactical puzzle.

RPGlite and Permadeath modes

For those who do not like or have time for typical long cRPG and prefer fast-paced combat oriented games - RPGlite mode cuts down the story content and lets you focus on party building and tactical combat. With Permadeath option for those who appreciate a really tough challenge and want to test their skills. Compare yourself with others via Score and DPS Race leaderboards.

Tower of Time is a real-time-with-pause isometric RPG from Event Horizon, mixing classic dungeon crawling with some modern twists. While it looks like a straightforward fantasy romp at first glance, it hides a surprisingly deep tactical layer beneath its story and setting. You descend into a mysterious upside-down tower buried deep in the earth. The narrative unfolds piece by piece as you go deeper, told through text segments, environmental clues, and companion banter. The world has a decayed, post-cataclysm feel, where magic is both a dwindling resource and a dangerous force. The lore is well-developed, though a little heavy on exposition at times. This is where Tower of Time stands out. Battles are real-time but allow pausing to issue precise commands. Instead of just spamming abilities, you need to think about positioning, line of sight, and crowd control. You can slow time, place tactical objects (like walls or traps), and carefully control ability cooldowns. Yo...

Tower of Time feels like a refreshed take on the classic Dungeon Siege formula. If you loved that game, you'll probably enjoy this. Plenty of party skill and equipment management to set your characters up for success on battle maps where you control abilities and positioning and your party handle the rest. There is a story and over-world exploration elements that are interesting, but not groundbreaking. Both elements do their job of ferrying you from battle to battle, but are not a defining factor of the game-play experience. Come for the party management and battle game-play and you'll get your money's worth. There are alternative modes that would make a replay more interesting, but the main campaign looks to be plenty long to justify the asking price.

Played just about, if not, everything that could be played in this game. Love. Memorable and enjoyable. One of my favourite games.

Cool game, given the price. The art style is appealing and it has interesting game customisation and character development options. Nothing revolutionary, but it scratches the itch.

Tower of Time blends tactical real-time combat with deep customization and a rich setting, creating an experience that stands out from typical dungeon crawlers. It reminds me of Aarklash: Legacy with its emphasis on positioning and party synergy.

i played the game in normal difficulty with tutorials checked. If game wasnt translated to my language i wouldnt be able to make it to 4 hours. First impression is good. I thought that game look like hereos3 concept and i kinda liked it. If it wanst feeling that much dull. Fight system is not bad, skill systems, items are cool. But most of the gameplay is reading text around stuff then fight. i dont know i couldnt get into it and didnt have much fun after some time. i cant kinda name it whats the problem. i give it 6/10.

Very good game for the price. Interesting story and good combat system. Much better version of darkest dungeon - 2d view from top/3d cutscenes, more dynamic real time yet easy to handle combats. A lot of fun testing new builds and compositions.

This game is excellent in my view. I've had NO hiccups or bugs. The art and graphics are good, I'm playing on Ultra and high. Very nice. The story is the most unique story I've experienced since Diablo. It is also a great story, but make sure you read the notes, and other information you pick up, as it tells the story and is never overwritten nonsense that have nothing to do with the story. They are short note and to the point, also they are automatically saved in your journal. I enjoy the soundtrack, and it is very smooth in some places, and more intense in others. I bought this with Dark Envy (the sequel) for under $10, and all the DLC were free with the game. I definitely recommend this game to others! Best regards
