I come from Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic years ago when I found it in one of those school Scholastic book orders. XD Wanted to play the two before it as I'd never known about them until I found them on Steam one day. Despite its age, this game is just as good with its own quirks. You ARE your here, and you don't sit in a tower. It's both refreshing, but also tends to make for quicker matches. I wouldn't call either game easier or harder. There's some queer quirks with the original AoW, which I find more amusing than anything, and take advantage of. Regardless of if you've ever played this game, or any AoW before it, I'd still recommend that you play this one, too. I'm running it on a Win10 laptop, and I had to do the following to get it working properly: 1. Run it from you Administrator account; it does not like the normal User privileges. 2.
