Cluckles' Adventure is certainly a great game for a great price. It's an oldschool-style platformer you can have fun with for 20 minutes if you're short on time but will also draw in fans of the genre to the point where they have to wonder how the last few hours went by so quickly. Despite it being very easy to get into, the game can be rather challenging at times. Completionists will certainly have to spend a while to find every last chick. The artwork and design is kept rather simple but is still very charming. The soundtrack is reminiscent of old Gameboy titles and very addictive. The Speedrun Mode also offers some great entertainment after you've beaten the levels regularly.

User Reviews
Cute game, just did 10 levels in so far and I can say that it's fairly enjoyable for its price. Cluckles' Adventure is a platformer game that is a "Collect number of [X] and exit the level" type. If you played games like Life of Pixel, it's similar to that but with Chicks. At least in this one, you can actually defeat enemies but one hit from them and you start over the level again, although in the game you can gain shields and helmets to be better well-defended. Chicks can be hidden in levels so you have to find hidden walls and etc to collect them to get a "Perfect" on it. The Soundtrack sounds nice and retro-ish. When I beat this game, I will give a better and more thorough review but I can say that you can enjoy this if you like "Collecting [X] to beat level" platformers and casual games to kill some time. Become a Momma Hen and save those chicks from those monsters with your Sword.
Edit: this was originally a negative review, but I've been on the fence about the game after completing it and have to conclude that my criticisms were not bad enough to warrant it. I'll leave it as a positive review that highlights the games weak points. I am enjoying playing through Cluckles' Adventure, the controls are tight and movement and attacking feels very fluid. However as I have gotten to the third set of levels, its flaws are standing out more and more. -When Cluckles falls, she plummets like a rock. This has lead to many deaths when I need to jump over a hazard and can't react before she falls to her death. -There are several types of enemies and hazards that throw projectiles. Often they will attack the split second that the screen scrolls onto them leading to a cheap and unavoidable death. -In the first two worlds, secret walls are hinted at by placement of a butterfly hovering around in the area. But in the third world, there are many secrets that have no butterfly...
The PC version is SO much harder to beat as compare to the Android version. XD;; FML!! But if you like metrovania, chickens, swords and chicks you'll love this game. It's hilarious and a ton of fun. Cx
This was fun until it wasn't. A tad bit repetitive. Good if you like tricky games.
Simple but fun, simply fun..
First of all, it's not a bad game. It's actually quite good, but there is one problem, which nearly ruined it for me - It is too long and way too repetitive. From the very first to the last level isn't much changing, except for some enemy types with different attacks. Positive: + Nice tileset and overall design + 3 different locations + Good Soundtrack + Controls are perfect + Very good Controller support Neutral: +/- Only one forward thrust attack +/- Some challenging levels +/- 108 Levels, but they feel very repetitive Negative: - Sometimes unfair enemy placement - Same cheap death traps in nearly every level
When I wake up in the morning, it is not to greet my family or perform at my job. It is not to secure personal betterment or gain. It is not something so tangible, so immediate. Cluckles' Adventure is a rare testament to the sheer possibility our human race commands. This game is a monolith.
I think this is an excellent game, great speedrun potential.
Meh. The mechanics are solid, and the level design is varried and fun, but the lack of check-points within levels is a serious lack of respect for my time investment. If you play only to use up your time, and not to actually play, then I guess you might be into that kind of design.
