A negative review only because the Definitive Edition has to be bought separately.

Is AOH 2 is good? Yes. Should you buy it? If you want to, yeah Why im not reccomending it? AOH 2 Definitive edition happens, im NOT buying the same game for TWO times, specially after AOH 3 that was disappointment for me, yeah, keep making us pay for something we already bought, whats can go wrong?

While game is good, developer is trying to milk it instead of fixing any bugs

Putting aside the whole definitive edition thing, this game just sucks. it feels like a bad PC port of a mobile game. It is a buggy, broken mess that barely works most of the time. The only good thing this game got is editor, but it isnt worth buying the game for that. just wait until eu4 goes on sale, its a way better game.

There’s still fun to be had here, but the lack of support and this cash-grab approach make it hard to recommend in good faith. Łukasz Jakowski’s grand strategy sandbox has a solid foundation, such as light mechanics, replayability, and a passionate modding community. But the game is held back by persistent bugs, AI quirks, and a developer who seems to have moved on rather than polish the experience. Worse yet, the 'Definitive Edition' is sold as a separate game instead of being a proper update to the original, forcing players to pay again for what should have been fixes and improvements.
