When the invaders where stopped and pushed back, the realm of Iwura was left in ruins. In order to prevent events like this from happening in the future, the clans gather to elect a shogun. This legendary leader was in charge of creating a realm army using the best and most skilled members from all the clans.

The powerful army was used to keep the peace in the realms and repeal any foreign threats.
Centuries have passed since the election of the first Shogun and peace was ruling in Iwura.
This peace however wasn't a good thing for everyone.

For people like Katou, it was only creating weak and soft people that were nowhere near strong enough to fight the foreigners if they were to come back.
That's why Katou took the initiative to dethrone the current shogun in order properly use the realm army which in his eyes was a big joke.

Using the cover of the night, Katou seized an opportunity to first get rid of the Scorching Hand clan who was the most loyal and honorable clan. Before his death the leader of the clan, Okazaki, manage to hold Katou and his man just long enough for his wife and newly born child to escape and for the Shogun to find out what's happening.
Katou and his man were stopped in time but he managed to escape.

Okazaki's son, Hayashi managed to grow up, train hard with his father's sensei and become strong enough to revenge his father.

Who will succeed in this incredible clash?

This "game" is a rip-off of Samurai 2: Vengeance, a game by MADfinger games from 2011 available on Android and iOS. Stay clear from this shady devs, don't support dishonest thievery!

I'm not sure what game the other reviews are talking about, I'm not seeing it. It is a fun game, but I have yet to see a "combo" of any sort nor have i encountered a challenge. Before I even got to the third area I was able to afford a sword that can kill everything from a distance. It is a lot of fun, still, but then I get stuck in the environment. When I reload my game, I am in a different area (I knew this would happen and was not worried) but then I was stuck by a story-lock and unable to progress in the game. I've only played the game an hour so far, but it was not so fun that I would want to replay that hour.

I have followed this game since it was on the green light pace, could not wait for it to be greenlit. I am so glad they droped the original voice, it was horrible, this one is so much better, even I could do a better voice then the first one. The games is so much better the everything I played lately, I am a big fan of indie dev and this game is my fav of this month. The price of this game is very convenient taking in consideration the complexity of the game play and also the fact that it takes a lot of time to finish the game, I haven’t finished it, which is a good thing, hate paying for a game that I finish in 2-3h. Yup, I recommend it, the graphics are awesome, the whole game give you the feeling of fantasy. Hope you see a sequel soon, I thinks the story can evolve a lot.

As a manga girl myself I was not expecting to see such a good story in an indie game, lately the indie games on steam are awful, but this one is worth the bucks. Hayashi and Katou make the best duo, one is the face of evil and the other one is the forgotten hero. The other thing I like about this game is the fact is has rocks music in it, slay the bad guys while you rock on. P.S. It is not really bad and hopeless, but I would have thought three times before recommending someone to buy it without a good discount.

Just bought the game and I can say I love the animations and the combos, I don’t master the combos yet but still when I nail one I am super happy. Ninja Avenger Dragon Blade is an amazing game that is easy to learn and hard to master. The combat system is very in depth and there is always more room for improvement, even for the masters of the game. Recommend the game to the genre lovers. And I also intend to buy this for my girl friend, she is fourteen years old. But I don’t think the game is to violent for her, is just fantasy. This is a five star game.

Bought this for my girlfriend. She likes to play bloody games. She is obsessed with this. I came from work and she is already playing it. Good investment in this game, we both love it, worth the money. So guys if you have girlfriends, who love manga or single player actions games, buy it. I must be honest and say that I am a bad player compared to her, she is already at level 5 and I am stuck at level 4. I love the good feeling the game give you when playing, good to blow some steam when you came home from work.

I bought this game for my kids, they are 15 and 14, it is a bit violent but it's also a fantasy game quite cartoony, reminds me of Samurai Jack. Even though it is for them, I started playing it myself. Can’t wait for them to go to bed so I can have the pc just for me. The kids love it, but I also enjoy it a lot. Definitely recommend it. Also the music rocks, keeps you energized

This seemed like it had potential, but I found it to be ridiculously clunky and not fun as a result. There's no controller support but the mouse/keyboard controls are awkward where the mouse only pans the camera which always stays at the same distance so buildings/objects keep blocking your view of the characters. The collision detection for the player seems choppy too since many objects seem to have some leeway on their boundaries. The combat feels unresponsive to me from time to time where it feels like my character has issues striking correctly/timely. And then the enemies seem too dumb, at least from the few minutes I played, as shooting them from a particular distance meant they'd just stop trying to attack me and let me kill them without objections. Maybe this just wasn't for me.

Won’t give spoilers, but I sure want a sequel. I think the devs put a lot of hard work in this product, I would definitely support a sequel. Guys please make a sequel, I want to know that happens with Katou and Hayashi. I care more about Katou, best villain ever.

I did not expect an indie game to be so well executed, I think the developers spent a lot of time creating this game. Already played for like two-three hours but I can’t stop. Thanks for making this game, the action indie games market needed something like this. A lot of hard work was put in this product. Won’t give any spoilers about the story. The manga is amazing !!!
