AAARRRGGHHH. Game was only 5 mins long. Maybe 10 if you are really slow. You get a tutorial, then you fight one guy and thats it. Not worth $10 bucks at all at the moment, even for early access. With that said. It's going to be decent, once there is content of course. Basically a vanishing realms type. Pretty good even. 10 bucks for a 5 min tutorial, wait it out IMO. Only problem I have with it so far is the Quick slot inventory system is a little clunky. Adding items to inventory could be a little more intiuitve like vanishing realms or call of starseed. Game also seems dark. thats probably my new geforce card settings I have though.

REALLY??????? only the tutorial????? for 10 bucks. I think that the guy's from steam must set rules for this little content at that price (our any price). early access oke but this is ridicules . I will hold it in my library to see how this evolve. but to the makers of the "game" if you want feedback about the gameplay give us a something to play. I think its wise to redraw this from selling in the store and release this in it's current state as a free demo "The Ancient Remains Demo " and if you have more content then resume selling. because what you do now is bad marketing, most of the people will give you thumbs down and to many thumbs down and it will never be a hit. and that would be a pity because the graphics are great greetz, marco

I enjoyed playing this vertical slice/tutorial of the gameplay and am looking forward to what the devs have in mind for the rest of the experience. It is about 10-15 min long in it's current state. I'm recommending it based on the fact that I want to support the devs in making it bigger and better. I feel like there's promise in the concept and it'd be worth it to invest in that. Spoilers ahead, kind of :) The player is guided through a simple dungeon and taught the different modes of interaction. Teleport move, picking up objects, using weapons (sword & board, bow & arrow, magic wand), and utilizing their inventory. The inventory is a 3D chest that pops up in front of you with a tetris-diablo style layout to slot items into. Quickslots are there to attach items for faster recalling on the go, which I think will be great down the road if the player likes to switch up their engagement style. The delve also contains a basic one on one fight with an animated enemy.

Very promising. I love the graphics and the atmosphere. The concept of the weapons handling feels a bit strange though. I mean that first you grab an item, then you press a button to add it to your inventory, and doing that the item disppears, just to show up again sticking to your hand, and only then you can use it. It would be more immersive if you just could grab a weapon and use it. The weapons themselfs work quite well. I love the bow. Great feeling and accuracy. Also the wand. I really hope you will add locomotion (free movement) as an option. Keep up the good work. I am looking forward to your next updates.

I can confirm that this game has been completely abandoned by the developer as it's been in early access now for almost four years and the developer does not respond on the discussions board. As it stands, there is no save function so you must repeat the tutorial every time you play. There are no options at all and the graphics are muddy and outdated. Every hallway also looks the same, The controls are extremely awkward and you will spend most of your time messing with them to figure out how not to make your weapons disappear. Perhaps the worst aspect of this game is the fact that you can shoot enemies with arrows until they die and this goes completely unnoticed by the AI. Slashing them with your sword at least gets their attention but there is no hit detection feedback so it feels like swishing the air. So many problems that will never be addressed. This game should really be pulled from Steam.

This game has so many glictches. I had to walk through a wall with my head to get to a new room. I was in practice mode for bow and arrow. It took 30 minutes to get through. The arrows don't release at all close to how you aim them. (yes, I am pretty good). Then I finally get the last bullseye and go to the next room. What do you know it transports me back to the bow and arrow practice range to start again. I will be requesting a refund. I would give zero stars if I could. I have brand new computer with all the video cards and have no trouble with any other games.
