Molemen Must Die!

A must-have for all fans of Downwell! I love it.

If you've ever played the awesome free indie game Super Crate Box, Molemen Must Die! will be immediayely familiar. It takes that general idea - 2D platformer, survive as long as you can against waves of enemies, collect a variety of guns - and turns it up to 11. For one thing, it's always on the move: you have to escort a bomb down toward the centre of the earth, and its slow progress ensures that you're never fighting on the same set of platforms for very long. Every time you die, a random modifier is applied, so the game gets very chaotic very quickly. And the guns! Oh, the guns. So many guns. If you want a genuinely pulse-raising game experience you can enjoy in just a few minutes, or play for hours on end without ever seeing the same scenario twice, buy this game NOW.

BEST GAME EVER!

Frantic, random and very addictive. A solid gun game at an awesome price.

I have been excited for the release of this little gem and it certainly did not disappoint. This is a really fun “pick up and jump right in” kind of game where you could spend any amount of time playing. The global leader board has you testing your skills against other players and yourself keeping you coming back for that “just one more go” run. The power-up load outs switch the game up immensely, which was something I wasn’t quit expecting but really enjoy, from ricocheting bullets, more enemies, explosive landings plus many more. There is also good selection of weapons to utilize on your decent into chaos, from machine guns to homing rockets. I highly recommend this game for anyone who likes action/arcade score chasers and for the cost of the game, you really can’t go wrong .

This game's premise is a political commentary, which I only discovered well after getting into it. In other words, you don't have to know what's really going on, just enjoy blowing the !@#$ out of everything. The Machine Gun is my favourite power-up, especially when I'm shooting out from both ends. Gameplay starts to get hectic after a few playthroughs, but all the shooting, killing and explosions, coupled with a surprisingly fitting sountrack, make for an exhilarating experience. I recommend a controller for this game, even though I'm usually a keyboard enthusiast.

For the small price of a disgusting, greasy, burger that will only further your descent into the inavoidable embrace of death, you too can enjoy the thrill of killing many mole people. Scientist say that klling mole people may prolong your life expectancy by as much as 1 day per mole person, and at the end of the day, isn't that you can ask from a vidgame? It's pretty damn fun. The effects are great, and the powerups are a lot of fun.
