This should be free. It's just an advert for the film. I thought you at least get to explore the ship but the various rooms are just chained together in a linear fashion so you move from one scene to another. There are only about four rooms in total and a couple look like they've been thrown together in 30 minutes. The 'puzzles' are nothing of the sort, just a matter of selecting the tool (it tells you to select) and clicking where it shows you. Don't understand the positive reviews this has had. It's also incredibly short (15-30 mins), but I didn't really mind as it's pretty boring.

This should be a free minigame as an ad for the movie. Movie is good, this game seems like typical quick to market sofisticated advert. Ad you need to pay for :) Hand tools was fine... minigames were relatively ok, if the game had actually some content. Also the minigame content etc. was so "just to be there".. no real gameplay reason - just arbitrary timeouts etc. Graphics looked very bad in the distance... seemed supersampling was lowered even below 1.0. Worst outer space walk experience i had in VR games. Propably mainly because of low resolution and missing some details on the star surface and so. I actually liked the suit. VR games tend to look better on closer objects and moving head with helmet felt fine. There are actually many free games with much more content than this paid ad. This game would be relatively ok for a free game.
Nice looking game. A few fun little mini games. Should be a free advertisement for the movie not a $10 game. Only took about 15 min to play through, and not any replay value.
The controller is very cool, something different from the usual hands or gloves. Voice acting is excellent. The interiors would look very good if there was a supersampling option which I couldn't find, so the graphics were too blurry. Too bad the game only has teleport and no trackpad locomotion. It's also very short, so I think 5 EUR would have been better than 10.
Not really worth the money unless you're a big fan of the film's design, which I am. The aliasing is bad and the puzzles buggy, had to leave and enter to get one to work, never managed to figure out how to use the key later on and finally gave up. I'd much prefer they rebuild this using Source 2 and make it part of Destinations so we could meet up with others in teh station. Still for me this is still better than nothing!
Nice experience!! But it will be much better if you do flying in the space near the ship like in film! Please upgrade it!! And one more, after finishing game add free walk by Starship with flying in the space!
I would have thought at the end of the game that you would be able to walk around the ship instead of being stuck in you're dull room. So basically you have to rush to each part and save the ship and in 5 min the game is over? Let me have access to the ship and I'll change my review!
Cool but the graphics seems to be displayed in low resolution. I would have loved to be able to walk freely in the spaceship.
Spoilers... I liked the game although if you're not a big Passengers fan it may not be worth the price for you. It is, more or less, a promtion for the movie so it should be free. In the game you do get a look at the hibernation bay, the bar, the observatory (very cool), the swimming pool where you have to escape from a water buble, and then a spacewalk to repair theship. One downside is the game is always pushing you to move forward so you don't get much time to explore these areas. Another is the puzzles are a little too easy to solve. What the game is sadly missing is being able to explore the Avalon. It would be nice to have a sandbox mode where you could just walk about the ship or outside the ship as in the movie. All in all good game but you are paying to see advertising.
I didn't even realize this was related to a movie when I purchased the experience. As someone who just finished Parks and Recreation it was like music to my ears to hear Andy Dwyer's voice. I started to think that the whole Parks and Rec gang might be on their way to a new planet with me. I looked around for Leslie and Ron but couldn't find them. Soon I realized this wasn't a Parks and Rec VR space game, but something much different. Anyways, fun experience, about 20 minutes long in total so not much there, but it's pretty.
