About the Game

The Devil you know returns in this brand new entry in the over-the-top action series available on the PC. Prepare to get downright demonic with this signature blend of high-octane stylized action and otherworldly & original characters the series is known for. Director Hideaki Itsuno and the core team have returned to create the most insane, technically advanced and utterly unmissable action experience of this generation!

The threat of demonic power has returned to menace the world once again in Devil May Cry 5. The invasion begins when the seeds of a “demon tree” take root in Red Grave City. As this hellish incursion starts to take over the city, a young demon hunter Nero, arrives with his partner Nico in their “Devil May Cry” motorhome. Finding himself without the use of his right arm, Nero enlists Nico, a self-professed weapons artist, to design a variety of unique mechanical Devil Breaker arms to give him extra powers to take on evil demons such as the blood sucking flying Empusa and giant colossus enemy Goliath.

FEATURES

  • High octane stylized action – Featuring three playable characters each with a radically different stylish combat play style as they take on the city overrun with demons
  • Groundbreaking graphics – Developed with Capcom’s in-house proprietary RE engine, the series continues to achieve new heights in fidelity with graphics that utilize photorealistic character designs and stunning lighting and environmental effects.
  • Take down the demonic invasion – Battle against epic bosses in adrenaline fueled fights across the over-run Red Grave City all to the beat of a truly killer soundtrack.
  • Demon hunter – Nero, one of the series main protagonists and a young demon hunter who has the blood of Sparda, heads to Red Grave City to face the hellish onslaught of demons, with weapons craftswoman and new partner-in-crime, Nico. Nero is also joined by stylish, legendary demon hunter, Dante and the mysterious new character, V.

Power doesn’t always arrive with a roar Sometimes it comes with a smirk with footsteps that walk over blood with a sword that only sings when your silence finally breaks This isn’t just a war against demons It’s a war against yourself Against your past Against a name you’ve been trying to bury for years and that voice whispering in your ear: “You’re one of them.” And you? You laugh Loud. Unhinged Not because anything’s funny but because if you don’t laugh, you’ll collapse Your sword isn’t a weapon. It’s an extension of your soul Your guns? Just another way to speak You talk in slashes. You argue in bullets. You scream in style Every combo is a symphony And your soundtrack? A scream torn straight out of hell But beneath the show, beneath all that power something is buried an old wound A buried guilt A connection that never truly healed Maybe a brother Maybe a father Maybe just… a version of yourself that used to be more human Your enemies all have faces Tw...

Ah yes, the game about Vergil hiring Vergil's son and Vergil's brother to kill Vergil, so Vergil can become Vergil. (Featuring Vergil)

Absulute cinema, I finished all the games (Including the second game) of Devil May Cry. What a journey it was! I loved every single second of it!

dante is still hot. not big on the micro transactions though. I hate how Capcom shoe horns them into most of their newer games. Would prefer if they just.... wouldn't do that.

🔥 "Six years later, still SMOKIN’ SEXY STYLE!!" 🔥 Devil May Cry 5 is the most stylish action game I’ve ever played. The combat is lightning-fast, flashy, and smooth—Vergil alone is worth the price. The soundtrack amps you up, the story is sharp with no bloated cutscenes, and every character feels unique to play. Even after 100+ hours, I kept coming back to master more combos. Capcom truly outdid themselves. This isn’t just a game—it’s an addiction. “Legends never die. They just get better hair and smoother combos." Pros :- ✅ Best-in-class action combat ✅ Three fun, unique characters (+ Vergil!) ✅ Incredible soundtrack & voice acting ✅ Runs great on all hardware ✅ No fluff, just pure gameplay Cons :- ❌ Some levels feel too linear ❌ V’s gameplay isn’t for everyone 🎮 Overall Score: 9.5/10

Im not a Dmc Fan but this game was truly amazing. Gameplay was super smooth with lots of different combos/upgrades for the different characters. Visually the game look amazing too. All the characters were fun to play. Playing Dante and Nero "late" game was hype asf and i couldnt get enough. Music was good, Level design was ok/good enough too and there were some really unexpected funny moments in the game. They created a lottt of different bosses throughout the game and all of them were good. I can even say that this was one of the most well made games ive played. Would give a 9/10 a little more work on some level designs and i could even give a higher rating. But overall amazing experience!

It's okay, and just okay. It's my first proper Devil May Cry game after trying the 2013 reboot years ago, and it honestly isn't at all like I thought it would be. The story is pretty great in terms of a 'hook', and it was super easy to get into even though my main exposure was from YouTube Lore videos but pretty much every character is "delivers a one liner in a raspy voice while smirking" anime-ified. The voice acting itself is honestly really bad, it sounds almost identical to old Anime English Dubs and not in a good way (Nico's voice direction was actually distracting and took me out of the game multiple times) The writing and voice acting overall would fit in perfectly with the original Resident Evil. The combat surprisingly was super clunky and unintuitive for a beginner. The best way I can compare it is that if Bayonetta is Call of Duty, then DMC5 is Squad. Sure, the barebones are similar, but one is more accessible and leans into it's casual nature whereas the other is signi...
