Indiana Jones® and the Fate of Atlantis™

This has held up surprisingly well, mainly due to good writing and some clever puzzle design - even if there are things that would obviously be done differently these days, and often for the better. (There are some puzzle decisions that are only frustrating, even if mostly they just require the player to backtrack.) It's not my favourite Lucasarts adventure - that's a tie between Monkey Island 2 and Grim Fandango - but it's definitely in the top 5.

I think this is one of LucasArts best games.

Great old school point and click game. I might finally finish it after 30 + years!

Haven't really played it since the original release, so this is not so much for the Steam release as it is for the OG game. As an adventure game fanatic, I loved IJ and the Fate of Atlantis. It was the heyday of LucasArts, and this is definitely one of the first PC games I played that gave a narrative worthy to be compared to all the movies. YMMV regarding the SCUMM system and how you like your gameflow. This is primarily dialogue and puzzles, just like the SCUMM games of your. Also noteable is that you won't ever really die. You will get stuck, though. Although probably not as long as in the pre Internet days. I'd recommend this only if you're a big indiana Jones fan or an adventure game fan
