Best in Class. This game takes some design cues from Zen Pinball but adds a lot of quality of life features (in particular a much, much improved tilt mechanism) and outclasses Zen on visual effects. Physics are comparable, perhaps slightly more forgiving and a little less refined, if I'm not imagining things. But what makes it really special is an increased attention to mechanical realism that hearkens back to the legendary and still unrivaled Pro Pinball series (especially the Ultra edition of Timequake!) The gorgeous DMD and a few "operator's menu" options stand out in this regard, and the textures and lighting of the toys evoke a tangibility not present in Zen's tables. And like Zen's Williams tables (but unlike their originals), you can turn off the impossible animations to get a more realistic feel (and seemingly different hitboxes). What's missing here from platforms like Pinball FX and Zaccaria is, well, the "platform." Although (excitingly) they intend to release more tables...
