I love this game. Looks so simple yet gets difficult later on. You're always moving the moment you press a button. It is possible to find a spot to park on some levels, but since you'll still be using battery can't stop for long either. Controls are simple: arrow keys or WASD along with any other controls you'll get as you play further. The music that plays keeps the game fun for me. They're not annoying loops or generic music, instead feel made for the game and helps it grasp your attention while mowing the lawn while avoiding grass monsters. I find myself dancing to the beat of the music too! My only complaints are that on some levels it's hard to tell where you are horitzontally, the recharge might spawn across the entire level and have to waste time to go, find, and maneuver to it, and the game is only in full screen.

Company to release the product, without the necessary tests.
The lawns brings huge profits. But the CEO of Xtract Grass has no idea about the error that was already made and about the approaching apocalypse.
That's too much of “leavenatine” was added to the DNA of the grass. Lawn monsters are want to enslave the entire world!
Burning or eliminating monsters using conventional methods is not possible. Bodies of the monsters are full of components that infect other plants.

Not really pleasant to play after the first levels because you die a lot and each death means restarting the level and the levels are long. Because of how the game is made you also have to backtrack often to get energy or you die. You can shoot at the ennemies but you need to craft the ammo and for some reason from time to time the ammo you crafted disappear. So instead of being fun and "arcady" the game has become tedious for me.
Other than a great asking price and tons of content - Grass Cutter doesn't have a whole lot going for it. It's definitely in the mobile game category. And I don't care that it was on PC first because the whole thing feels designed for mobile. The mechanic of cutting grass is pretty weak sauce; I had hoped it would have been more addicting. It does bring out some OCD tendencies. I *want* to cut the grass in an orderly fashion, but the mechanics have you doing the exact opposite. Essentially, you need to touch all the grass squares (cut them) without running out of power. Power buffs appear randomly and you need to stop what you are doing and go grab them. There are other powerups and money. There is a metric ton of content and unlockables, which is great if you enjoy the game. Pros: +The price is right and there is ton of content for fans Cons: -The actual core mechanic isn't all that fun to me I don't have too much more to say about this one....
My first reaction to this game was "well if Frogger -> Crossy Road, I guess Hovver Bovver -> Grass Cutter". But that was wrong. This is billed as a hard, arcade-style game, and I think that's just plain wrong. It's more of a logic puzzle game that happens to also require dexerity to play. It's really not bad for the price of £0.68p.
I picked up this game since it had pretty rare achievements, and I figured it'd be a laggy, meme type game. I was wrong. I haven't played much yet, so this will be more of a "first impressions" review. The game at first appears to be like one of those pixel-app games that goes viral for a week or two, then is never heard from again. Kind of like that Crossy Road game, or whatever it was called. I wouldn't say that this is an overall pro or con, but just something that should be noted. There is a small story to go along with the gameplay, and although it isn't anything like a AAA Game's story, it still adds a nice immersion factor and makes the game a hell of a lot more enjoyable. The ranking system is pretty cool too - it adds a little incentive along with the gameplay. The free gifts thing makes it feel more towards the app side of the game spectrum, but it is a nice little bonus, I must say, as it allows you to change some stuff up, like different characters (like cows!). ...
I played it for 60 minutes, and it was pretty fun. The fifth level a bit too hard. Please fix next update. Highly recommend for someone who wants a quick arcade based game to play when they're bored. Great story and character design.
Not my type of games, but it's a cute game to pass the time on. Love the idea.
Mowing in real life is easier and more fun then this. Quickly got bored, haven't returned since. Mower DLC bundles are almost $50AU (just for mower skins!) - WTF, no way for a free mobile port; i'd rather go buy the broken fallout 76... So yeah nah... - 3/10
Managed to fail the game before even seeing a lawnmower. 11/10 BEST GAME
The Art is nice but I personally found it boring props to the devs though for doing something I have not seen done before
