Dungeons of Sundaria

For the first couple hours this game is actually pretty fun. It kinda scratches that WoW itch to an extent. There is plenty of dopamine from the constant stream of rewards. The classes seem unique and are enjoyable. This game is missing a couple features that would make it far more enjoyable - health bars above enemy heads and floating damage numbers. A DPS meter would be cool too. I'd give this game a solid 7/10, price also factors into this score as it's only £8.50. I think if I had paid £20 I'd be disappointed, but for the price point it's pretty enjoyable. Devs - if you ever get the time project please consider adding floating combat numbers and floating nameplates/health bars!! This would make such a massive improvement to the game!

Disappointment manifest. If the game just came out- okay. But it's two years old, this is probably the lowest quality steam game i've ever played.

Dungeons are long, but you can speed run through them to just kill bosses. Combat is basically Neverwinter (mmo) press 1-5 skills and hit enemy. Bosses are basically hit, maybe dodge, hit more. I don't really find it fun, as it's clunky at best, and an asset flip at worst. Oh and as ranger you can't see what you are shooting at, as your character model (if it's not the smallest possible) obscures targets.

Fun game to run duo or squad. fairly straight forward with reasons to run the dungeons again, and again. The Map designs are unique and fun to explore with traps and jumping puzzles, the crypts having traps then the hollows having a jumping puzzle section keeping each one new dungeon fresh. Npcs are a bit goofy looking but it adds more than it takes away in appearance giving you a subtle feeling of WoW in a D&D world. The Boss fights are decent and some have their own mechanics to beating them; where others are a straight forward slug-fest. its not Triple A quality but i'd still give it an A+ because you can tell there is love put into this.
