I'm not gonna lie, I never understood the hype behind Street Fighter games. I was already of age when many instalments of this franchise was still being released, I guess I just wasn't into competitive games, even currently, but you can't deny the cultural impact these games have had on our time. The memes, the music, the lore, the community, it's one of the grandest there are. And so, I decided to finally take the plunge. I'm aware of even older releases of this franchise than the games bundles into this release, however, I decided to kickstart my journey with this one out of convenience. I gotta admit, for such old and dusty games, I really appreciate the modern QoL features added in this bundle. Quick save and load, arcade filters, move lists and so on. It felt like the best way to experience these games on a modern device, almost like your own digital museum of sort. If you enjoy fighting games at all, this is it. This is where it all began. This is a very good collection, with tons of replayability, and a steep learning curve. Online matches are a botch, no other way to put it, but it gets laggy AF, and there's basically nothing you can do about it, Get it for nostalgia, or to enjoy the rich museum aspect of it. Recommended.

It's a great collection of some of my favorite games of all time. Some games hold up better than others. The extra history and lore content is neat. I do wish the online play, netcode, was more stable and polished.
