This is a simple fun game that you would expect to find on consoles made in the early 80s in japan. You play as some fairy thing and float around like in joust to shoot at creatures who are then encapsulated in bubbles. After they are caught in said bubble you can catch them like the Bubble Bobble. It's Joust meets Bubble Bobble and it's simple and fun! I recommend.

I can't recommend this game, even as a man who grew up in the 8-bit-era. 1. You can't use the D-Pad, only the control stick works. 2. Movement feels like being a tank instead of a faery or whatever you play as. 3. Once you hit an obstacle mid-air and gain height, you cannot go diagonally again without touching the ground first. 4. Music is annoying and lacks any variation. 5. Level design is very poor.
this game is going to need some options to make it great. Gameplay = Joust meets Bubble Bobble. Sounds = like an old NES game Graphics = same The menus are minimal and basic. Like, I said, no options. This is what you get you for a buck.
I love this game !!! Very Nice Balloon Fight style game !!!
Good and cheap for unlock the steam market.... :) Bueno y barato para desbloquear el mercado de steam.... :)
Virus Crashers is a loose ripoff of Bubble Bobble (copyright Taito, 1986) featuring the core mechanic of capturing your enemies in a bubble, although there's a couple of different combat mechanics. While the game "works", it's clunky as all hell, with a Windows 95 tier configuration dialogue that really lacks meaningful options, and controller mapping that seems to be designed for console peasants... I just checked, and yep, I'm using a PC, not a console. It's really let down by a crappy technical execution that makes this play worse than playing Bubble Bobble in an emulator, and that goes back to one of the old rules in game development... if you rip off other people's games, you have to do better than the originals, not worse. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's uncle...
Pretty Fun 80s Style Arcade Game... Would Recommend... Wasn't Going Into The Game Expecting Much... Would Like Better Controls... Can See Why The Controls Would Be Good In An Arcade Cabinet... Overall Would Recommend For A Bit Of Fun For A Small Price... 6/10
Its actually not that good
The nostalgic charm of the NES era has made a triumphant comeback. This game successfully captures the emotions, atmospheres, and reminiscences of those enchanting 8-bit times. It is a straightforward and enjoyable experience reminiscent of the games found on consoles from early 1980s Japan. Players assume the role of a fairy-like character, gliding through the air akin to the gameplay in Joust, shooting at various creatures that become ensnared in bubbles. Once these creatures are trapped, players can collect them.
