I had been suffering with painful eye strain for a few days when I first spotted this app. I admit I didn't have much faith in it, but figured that for a couple of quid it was worth a shot as nothing else I tried was offering any relief. I've been doing one session a day for approx 5 days and to my surprise I have noticed a difference, the pain is gone leaving just a slight tightness in my right eye which I can feel improving with each session. I would definitely recommend giving this app a go for yorself, both my eyes felt much more relaxed even after just the first session.

Ok, I'm not saying only very specific people will find this useful, but these exercises are 'meant' for people who have issues with stereoscopic vision or some kind of eye muscle issue. You know how some people are cross-eyed? I'm the opposite (known as wall-eyed). This is a useful and cheap way to do eye exercises aimed at improving my alignment. Taking therapy sessions cost thousands of dollars and wasn't daily. I created my own tools to do the exercises for cheaper, but couldn't get myself into a groove doing them... simply having it in VR has helped tremendously. I now wake up, do this, then box in VR a bit for exercise as a daily routine, it's great. As for folks who do not have issues with stereoscopic vision... If you are experiencing eye strain, it may help; i don't know. It depends on if your strain is due to the muscle alignment on your eyes, i would think (which may very well be the case for a VR user, so I think this is a good match). It's fairly cheap, so it's not a ...
This is an awesome replacement for Vivid Vision and for the price tag, it's insane to not bite. I'm sure that the content will improve over time if enough people show interest.
Seems like a good idea, but the number of excercises is way too litter even for the modest price. More variety would add a lot of value.
I was surprised by this app. I was not expecting it to do much but I did find that it helped to exercise and relax my eyes. That said VR in it's current state is essentially about creating the illusion of depth when all you are doing is looking at a screen an inch or so away from your eyes. I would suggest supplementing this app with regularly looking out the window at distant objects like trees for instance.
Terrible. You would get much more eye training just playing BeatSaber or Space Pirate Trainer. This game barely has any Z-axis (near/far) movement, which is the whole point of having an app like this in VR instead of just a flat screen. This game is basically no different from holding a pen in front of your eyes and moving it left/right/up/down/circular/diagonal/near/far. I can feel that it does nothing to challenge my eyes. I do think that there is potential for VR to be useful in eye training / myopia reduction, but ironically I think that this game is worse for eye training than a lot of the games that are simply meant for fun.
I'm actively going through vision therapy and this app has been a great supplement to my other exercises. It does a lot of good stuff with saccades, following an object, and keeping my head straight so I only use my eyes. Also incredibly cheap. If you happen to be in my situation take a chance on this. Few wishes: + More exercises + Customized experience (options for time/music)
Ideal if you spend a lot of time using a standard screen. I noticed an improvement in my very poor focal speed after using this. But If you own the 'right type' of VR games you won't actually need this software; your eyes will get already get all the benefits of focusing at different depths and tracking moving objects. Buy this if you don't get a lot of VR time, but you can jump in for 5 mins after a long days' work to do something good for your eyes.
