What happens when you take an game with an incredibly high skill ceiling, deep and complex combat mechanics with very unique class identities (some of which requiring some classes to require thousands of hours to become even decent at) facilitating some of the most intricate and captivating PvP of any game in existence, then proceed to drain all of those unique parts out of the game in favor of mindless, bland, and never-ending PvE. These devs have slowly chipped away at the older and more intricate classes with high skill ceilings+floors removing their core identifying aspects until they're simply empty husks of their former selves, while simultaneously adding new and equally bland classes but virtually have zero flaws and just absolutely curb stomp any older, skill dependent classes outside of the top .5% of the players on it while said .5% of those older classes have to make zero mistakes in order to have a chance at beating one of the new classes. Large scale combat and team base...

"cash cow for devs and a hamster wheel for the addicted" Not Recommended – Even after thousands of hours. This game pretends to welcome new players, but the reality is brutal: you’re 10 years late to the party. A new player grinding 800m/h will never catch up to veterans or whales farming 4b/h. The only “catch-up” options are: Swipe your credit card for MINIMUM 5.000- 10.000€ ( if you very unlucky maybe even more is needed) , or Quit your job and no-life grind 8–10 hours daily for years. The new expansion? Just more content for whales who’ve spent car-level money, or nolifers chained to their grind. I don’t even know why I’m still here. It’s like a toxic marriage—you stay out of habit, not love. After all these years, I still don’t have the gear to even touch new content on release. This isn’t a game for newcomers. It’s a cash cow for devs and a hamster wheel for the addicted.

pretty good combat game w buns n tatas to stare at while u whack-a-mole. i do the chill mode lifeskill play, mostly tho; fishing, farming, trading, etc,. just remember to disable most in-game notifications (it can be a bit spammy otherwise): settings > general settings > alerts . just being aware of where these settings are will be helpful

after nearly 6,000hrs (about 4,000hrs are not AFK) this game has ruined both the MMO and Sandbox aspects for the game, there is no fun or creativity left to be had, i used to love this game used to enjoy it, but now its just a dead pile of slop. devs dont seem to care either just do what they want and ignore what needs to be done to fix the game.

i used to play this game 240 hours/2 weeks. What changed? - No real end game. you run in circle for thousands of hours to get to endgame gear - No balance. Classes run around you perma Super Armor dealing high damage even to tanks (im 780dr) - Constantly adding new gear for players to get. All i wanted is to reach hardcap, pen boss armors, kzarka, dande, nouver and the old good stuff. Now we have to grind circles for crons. Is BDO worth playing? if you are a new player and want to experience constant progress up to a certain point, Yes. its fun to see you get gear fast. Is BDO worth playing as a second life? No. You don't get nothing rewarding for your time spent in the game, the community is not as active as it was in 2018-2020. BDO for New Players = Overwhelming, but with time it is bareable. BDO for Veterans = Circles 24/7 BDO for Seasoned Players = Arena of Solare, Hardcore (if it will ever come back), mby chill on seasonal arsha, GOOD FEELING.

🎫 Loyalty Points Character Slot Ticket Needs to Come Back! The Character Slot Ticket that used to be available for Loyalty Points is no longer in the shop, and honestly, it's becoming a real problem—especially for newer players or those who enjoy playing multiple classes, lifeskilling, or doing RP with different characters. Not everyone wants—or can afford—to spend Pearls just to unlock more character slots. Loyalty Points are meant to reward daily, consistent players. This kind of system used to increase player engagement and motivation.

so much bs on your screen, insane amounts of reading, annoyingly slow quests and lots of insufferable mechanics, expensive as **** cosmetics, the only reason to ever bother playing is the fact its a third person mmo and not top down, with visuals that arent crusty warcraft ones, regret getting back into the game, will be dropping it again ngl, waste of my money

I don't know about this game. It didn't catch me like other MMO's, already the beginning is so confusing with how and what abilities you can use, that i lost interest in an instant. Press shift + e and other combos, but nothing is in the skill bar, to look it up. Not for me, After playing TERA this is really disappointing.
