Brought this game for my Dear Friend who is now in heaven, He loves Assassin's Creed as much as me, he especially love Origins and Odyssey, and I love Black Flag and Ezio Trilogy. Even though I really hated the RPG system of the newer Assassin's Creed Games but, this is for you Vince! I'll try to love these games just for you my friend!
Assassin’s Creed Origins is more than just a game it’s a breathtaking journey into ancient Egypt, a living museum where every dune, temple, and bustling street tells a story. It revitalized the franchise by merging historical immersion with deep RPG mechanics in a way few games have achieved. The most striking feature is its unparalleled depiction of Egyptian culture and history. From the grandeur of the pyramids to the Nile’s tranquil banks, every detail feels handcrafted with care. The Discovery Tour mode even allows you to explore it purely as an interactive historical experience. Bayek, the protagonist, is one of the franchise’s finest characters a man driven by grief and duty, whose journey leads to the birth of the Assassin Brotherhood. His story, paired with Sarah Schachner’s hauntingly beautiful soundtrack, creates an emotional weight that elevates the game far beyond typical action titles. 💡 Tip: Play it slowly. Wander the deserts at sunset, sail the Nile under...
Great game. Some folks who have played AC games since the beginning don't like the direction Ubisoft took with this one, however as a game in itself, it's great. Good graphics, good combat, good voice acting, good amount of main and side content. Recommended.
F**k Ubisoft Connect, it’s such a pain. Why do I always have to log in to play this game? I checked “Remember me,” so why does this login popup keep showing? And now they’re forcing me to change my password. I love this game, but the Ubisoft Connect part is really annoying.
The game is just beautiful. The story, its protagonist and it RPG element is just so good. I mean, who will dislike a ancient egypt setting with some of its folklore integrated into a AC game (I know, many people dont consider AC RPG triology as an AC game but still). The game was well paced, not too long not too short. Combat was insane, stealth was good, weapon choice were excellent and the DLC are worth every penny. 9/10 will recommend this.
Overall, I liked the game, though I did blaze through the main story and only tried a couple of side quests. The conflict between Greece and Egypt was engaging, and it was interesting to see how the Order was formed. At first, I assumed it was set during the time of Ptolemy I, but with the mention of Cleopatra I quickly realised it was much later in the Pharaohs’ line. I was surprised that Ubisoft, in their attempt to stay “historically accurate,” never addressed the incest of the Egyptian royal family, especially as Cleopatra’s power struggle with her brother-husband is such a central plot point. The auto-camel feature was a lifesaver, particularly during one mission that was 8,000m away and still took about twenty minutes, but at least I didn’t have to ride there manually. My biggest issue is that for an open-world game it feels very barren: while the desert setting makes sense, the copy-pasted houses and characters made it seem like I was helping the same people repeatedly...
An atmospheric and true-history-inspired masterpiece. 10/10.
Ubisoft Launcher is an absolutely useless program that only takes up space on the PC. It brings no value, just unnecessary software you can easily do without. For this — negative review.
