When I bought this game I thought a COUPLE of Story Acts were done. But no, they were still at Act 1 out of like... 6? Now it's cancelled. Don't come here for the story, though what's there was pretty good
For those aware of what happened, Tfh is now under new ownership (again). Theres supposed to be an announcement in September about it. Nobody knows who or what their intentions with the game are though, so whether its good or bad has yet to be seen. As far as the actual game, its great. The gameplay is smooth, theres more than sufficient amounts of depth, and its relatively easy to get into if your unfamiliar with fighting games. It does have some balance outliers; Baihe being competitively banned as an example(albeit for different reasons). I haven't played the single chapter of story mode yet despite it being a concerning reason a number of people bought the game(but that has its own nuanced takes). I hear its good. I'll eventually get to it.
Very good game
This game deserved SO much better. Wonderful character designs, amazing music, lovely animations, and seriously fun game play. If you're somehow unaware it's been cancelled by Modus. And it's genuinely such a shame because what is already here is AMAZING and it deserved to live out the rest of its life getting all tons of love. If you're curious to try it, I still think what is available is worth trying. My main is Oleander, who I found to be INCREDIBLY fun to play as! Setting up the magic orbs really turned out to be a blast and I love her corrupted unicorn, dark magic aesthetic!
