https://youtu.be/tB6KRNaKUHg Pale Moon Crisis is a horrendously pathetic attempt at a PC Game offering. The Dev's listed "Required" and "Recommended" 1024x576 graphics are actually what graphics the game plays at. No fullscreen option or even a resolution option that fits standard PC resolutions, which is completely and utterly baffling for a title that is being sold for PC. In addition to that, there is absolutely no mouse support whatsoever. As if all of that wasn't insulting enough to those foolish or insane enough to consider wasting $5 on this "game", it has still more drawbacks. Voice acting is not in english, text dialogue is in broken english showing that the Devs were too bloody lazy to hire an english interpreter and decided to instead rely on Google translate because hey, it's cheap right? Also, I played through the game in approximately 13 minutes. And that was extended due to my recording a First Impressions video. In short, this isn't a game, it is an insult. I would n...

Seriosly, I expected something from Greenlight-project. How foolish from me. And we pay money for...THIS. Some animations just cut, like wearing weapon in hands while the heroine walks, her eyes always watch on a screen untill she start to aim, some idiothic riddles and etc. But, I could close my eyes on this, if not the last and the worst part of this - STARVATION. STARVATION, CARL! By the Seven Gods, what the heck is going on in developer's head, if he made THIS the part of gameplay? Besides, the developer did almost nothing about this game. Music, monsters, sprites, animations (which became even more cutted), voice - it is 95% original game, just with replaced locations and little more clothed heroine. Dammit, I can understand when developers starts from zero, but he took finished h-game and tryed to remade it into a survival-horror game! Somehow, he managed to ruin such an interesting idea, and now he sales it for money.
Pale Moon Crisis is a side-scrolling game which was initially hentai-game, I suppose. However, there is No hentai content in the current Steam version but a few not really hot bikini pictures. I've tried to look for the "original", but it seems to be unavailable at the current moment. So, now it is a short wanna-be survival horror game: you basically landed in some mystic mansion, filled with monsters and closed doors. You need to check for some hidden boxes, find the keys to unlock the doors and solve some puzzles, fight some melee monsters with the pistol or the old-school knife, and eventually get away from the mansion. To speed up the player, a satiety scale is introduced into the game, which basically acts as a timer counting down the time until the end of the game. The average gameplay time is about 1-2 hours (and most of that time you'll be figuring the locks and keys). The visuals ain't all bad, the looped music track (or there were two?) and sounds ain't all bad either. Howe...
I wasted my time with this game. I reviewed this game on Dat Game. A show where I love sexy video games. But porting this has taken the last reason for me wanting to play this ever. Go check out my youtube review for the uncensored version here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgqeTWOMFz0 Im going to sum up the steam version for you all. Its crap. Its a waste of time. I made a fool of myself on a live stream. and I think I have a growth in my brain. Please put me out of my misery But really. The Truth were all in the dark: http://prntscr.com/g25h5t
Thumb up for the improvement from the original one as well as the potential for decent future content. However if you want to get a well-polished 2D surviving horror game as soon as possible, I don't think PMC is the one for you right now. Pro: + nice art style + puzzles with hints that are vague enough not to make the puzzle pointless + improved inventory system and redesigned playthrough cons: - visually the same game as the original one - starving is... I will just say there is no need for a starvation system in this game... - battle system is O.K. but not suitable in this game. About the battle system, I will go into more details: I got all knife-related achievements in my first playthrough. No, I was not challenging myself. The ammunition is not enough to kill everyone, yet I don't have the option to strategically avoid combats most of the time either. As a result, I "knife" my way out, which is really easy to do since now monsters' attack range is more limited compared to the ...
As soon as I bought this game I quickly beat it. Then, after recuperating, I actually tried the game. I'm half-joking, but in all seriousness, it's not a bad game for the meager price. It's not exactly a great game, but the setting is compelling and the female protagonist is cute as hell. If you buy this game without high expectations then you won't be disapponited. It's actually a pretty good game for what it is. This happens to be the Steam-cleaned version of a game that is still available on another Japanese site, where the game is simply being called "Mansion".
nope
I didnt mind Pale Moon Crisis. There were some poor design choices most likely due to the much of the original game being cut. Needing to eat a chocolate bar every 10 minutes becomes annoying especially when paired with the 3 key part of the game which has you walking back and forward using trial and error. Otherwise Pale Moon Crisis reminds me of a less gritty side scroller of the original resident evil game.
I don't know why someone bought this for me...But it's kinda cut, so thank you! But I don't get it.
