About This Game
Expanding on the groundwork laid out by the first game, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 is a full-blown sequel - bigger, richer, more impressive and more ambitious than the original game. It will include, at launch, all 12 factions from the original tabletop game and its expansions it is based on: the Imperial Navy, Space Marines, Adeptus Mechanicus, Necrons, Chaos, Aeldari Corsairs, Aeldari Craftworld, Drukhari, the T’au Merchant and Protector Fleets, Orks, and finally, the Tyranids.
The latest dramatic story development in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, the Gathering Storm and the 13th Black Crusade, serves as the canvas for three extensive and dynamic campaigns with high narrative values, focusing on the Tyranids, the Necrons, and the Imperium. Explore the systems in the Eye of Terror, with or against renowned characters such as Belisarius Cawl, Gulliman and more.
With bigger battles, refined gameplay, improved multiplayer modes and features for a better and more balanced online experience, as well as improvements across the board and even more customisation options for fleets and ships, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 promises to be the ultimate Warhammer 40,000 space battle experience.

for those still crashes, open the game stem property and pate cmd /c "set OPENSSL_ia32cap=:~0x20000000 && %command%" to launch options
Yep, the game crash when you try to run it, its a shame cuz I was really hyped for give it a shot but anyways....
Easy anti cheat on single play... Wow...
Kernel-level anti-cheat, and the game doesn't even bloody run on modern machines. Waste of money.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This game requires you to deactivate a win11 security setting due to the "easy anti-cheat". This would make most people instantly seek refund. This requirement seems ridiculous if you are not playing online. To turn the win11 setting back on, I had to uninstall the game. This shows that the program potentially runs when not playing the game (Couldn't find running task. But something was obviously conflicting.) I would not recommend for this issue alone. They will most likely have to address this at some point. Summary: Its a decent game. Would appear there is a lot of story in campaigns, lots of voice acting and a decent narrator. The default asking price still seems too high tho. Its less of a RTS and more of a naval fleet common with capped command points. Game starts to feel like its dragging on in late campaign. Its hard to start a 2nd campaign after beating first one. Its just too repetitive at times. Too many random environmental effects that seem unnec...
For Cadia!!!
I have had this game for a long time, orginally I had much fun and I would recommend it with no problem, but at the time I write this it keeps kicking me out of the game at random. I might update this review once it is fixed. Update: It seems the problems is with Open SSL, needed to make a eviroment varible to get it to work, such problems.
Really bummed but it didn't work for my monster machine of a computer didn't get the game to start once no waaahh today boyz :(
I used to love to messing around with the game. On a whim I tried to start it up again and the game runs for several mins and crashes. And the cherry on top, I leveled all factions to 10 so I could pick from every ability. Some time between the last time I played it and now, the cloud save lost all of my multiplayer progress. All of my story mode progression is still there, so Im not sure Im even interested in playing the game again even if it does get patched. Copy and pasting the line of code did seem to work. But Im still bitter about needing to level all of the multiplayer factions again. I wish I could say "eh" or remove my review all together. Because when the game works, its actually pretty decent.
