I bought this little visual novel as soon it was released on Steam, and even if I disliked the developer’s previous work (Aozora Meikyuu) I wanted to give them another chance. And well. Turns out I didn’t liked this title either. The art style is pretty tho, I enjoyed it. But the story seemed somewhat interesting at first and turned out to be a complete disappointing. A few dialogues are funny to read, but for that price, it simply isn’t worth it. Also, both routes are very different from each other, it’s like two separated stories. And both were badly writen. Hotaru’s ending was a bit more interesting, but it felt rushed and incomplete. 3/10. Wait for this title to get in a bundle and try it out, at least that’s my recommendation.
The English isn't that great. The phrasing is often awkward, and grammar errors and misspellings are very frequent. The images are liable to not describe the text, which is jarring. There aren't many images, leaving many lines of text without a corresponding image change, even when it would be justified. There isn't much of a plot. I got through one path to the end in half an hour. Did I miss something? EDIT: Turns out a walkthrough is all-but-necessary to get anything but the very short and more-unpolished ending. Still not blown away. It frequently doesn't make much sense even within the rules established by the fiction. To summarize: it's bad writing, (though some parts were cool) the character art is fine, the background art is fine, the CG is lackluster, and the music is passable. A complete playthrough is 2-3 hours - there's just not much content here. Much of the CG is included in this community as screenshots already. It seems buggy too - I had all the achievements unlocked, b...
This is an interesting little visual novella. It tells a good story, depending on which route you go down. Though I must warn you that those routes have to be done EXACTLY right, or you will get the bad end... There is a free patch to add some explicit content, but I'm not sure it really adds much...
Its a good game, decent story and likeable characters. Some potential character growth is good. Only thing negative is thats a little short and that the paths require every single selection exactly, had to do some speed rounds for the less obvious answers per route.
Super short and limited choices. Choices stop about 1/4 of the way through. Silver lining: Endings guide and 18+ patch are pinned threads in the discussion area. VN can be completed in under 10 minutes with full-skip.
Not a bad game - though it's a little short and only 2 "endings" + the more abbreviated "bad ending". I would have wanted a little more options, but the story was somewhat interesting at least.
