I bought this game earlier today, played about 2 hours of it and that was enough to complete it on normal mode. The turn-based combat is very easy to learn, and it really is fun. I would reccomend this game to anybody looking for a quick, fun little experience on their PC. And for less than $5, its an absolute no brainer.

The reason I bought it was that the trailer and sceenshots reminded me of Ghostlords and having played it I stick with that notion... It's turn based combat but you also have the ability to lessen the damage by clicking a star that appears when an enemy's about to strike (like South Park Stick Of Truth and the Costume Quest games), you also get items that you use on a character you never get to play.... (so far at least) Your minions get the buff from the items you put on some mage you have that only appears at the end, when it's time to create a portal to take you home to the refuge, which is a tad weird but I can see it working. (I've only ran through the first tutorial world, played the first world and then gone through the tutorial of the "homestead") I do like this a lot, not heavy on the dialogue but it appears and is suitable, it should run like a dream on any machine (seems to use Adobe) down to where a Nokia 3310 is OP... TBH there are a few occassions when the english is...
A quick, fun, easy, and very casual Flash game with a cute art style, simple combat, lots of minions (characters you can add to your party) and items to find. It has a series of story missions that begin with a prologue tutorial in which you play some higher-powered characters. I like the engine. I would have preferred a more serious story and dialogue, and progression and a slower and less generous pace of progression and reward, but I'm not a fan of the JRPG style in general so that's on me.
This game is a mess. It doesn't seem to have been completed. Even if it were done it wouldn't be fun. It is mostly combat, and the combat is a dumbed down version of RPGMaker combat. Normal mode and hardcore mode appear to be identical. You even have to play through the tutorial again.
