Subliminal Realms: The Masterpiece Collector's Edition

An excellent HOG all around. Even the story was great, which is rare for a HOG. The artwork was beautiful and very unique. The HOP's were nicely interactive, and presented with great variety. The mini-games and puzzles were overall original and fun. In addition to the main game, there is a bonus adventure, collectible slides, several paintings that you can paint, a secret card game that unlocks, and in-game achievements (although no steam achievements). The game is fairly long for a HOG, and you certainly get your money's worth in entertainment.

this was definitely one of the more fun hob games i have played in a long time! it was very inventive and unique with how you had to search the scenes and the puzzles weren't too difficult but it's okay becuase it was still a lot to do to get pieces you needed. I really enjoyed the story and the characters as well. the artwork was amazing and just beautiful i love how it's painted and how you needed paintbrushes to go through scenes. i would definitely recommend this hob to anyone especially people who love hob games, this is a refreshing one and definitely will keep you wanting to play to the very end

It has so many different ways of doing hidden object scenes - in addition to paint brush collecting (and painting things), as well as domino-effect find-and-use items. It boasts a good variety of areas and a plot so weird that I'm sure they did it just to throw the rule book out the window. _____________ The plot is a bit bizarre. Right at the start, you get blocked from entering any painting because our [strike]bushy ranga lumberjack[/strike] artist hasn't finished them yet, but wife and daughter get sucked in. I thought it was contradictory but by the end you get the why of it. [h3]It's so bizarre he frames his unfinished work and hangs it on the wall behind a pane of glass.[/h3] Then proceeds to hunt around for a glass cutter when he realises he needs to finish it. Played this awhile ago. So excuse the vagueness. Decent HOG and nice artwork. Ran fine on my setup. Buy if you like this sort of thing. If you don't like Hogs then this would not be the one to change your mind.
