For anyone who grew up watching their spaghetti westerns and buddy comedies, this game feels like stepping into the screen alongside them. At its core, it’s a side-scrolling brawler in the style of Final Fight or Streets of Rage. You and a friend (or the AI, if you’re solo) can play as Bud and Terence, unleashing punches, kicks and of course signature open-handed slaps on waves of goons. Each character feels distinct: Bud is slower but powerful, while Terence is quicker and more agile. The combat isn’t overly complex, but it nails the goofy, exaggerated feel of their fights on film. What really sets the game apart is the atmosphere. Levels are directly inspired by their movies, from barroom brawls to slapstick chases, all drenched in affectionate detail. The game isn't bad, but it's extremely overrated. 91% positive? Really? Yes, the pixel art and animations look great. Yes, the nostalgia factor is high. But the gameplay is really weak. The combat is too simple. You can perform a normal or strong attack, block, and perform a running attack. Sometimes, if you press the block button at the right time, you can perform a special counterattack. That's it. There are no combos, grabs or charged attacks. You just mash the two attack buttons. Actually, it's even worse than that. Once you realise that the running attack is extremely overpowered, you won't want to use any other attacks. Just spam the running attack to clear any area 50% faster. It's ridiculous. By the way, the game contains a stunning variety of three different common enemy types that you will fight repeatedly. When you're not fighting, you'll be playing minigames. Some of them are OK, some are frustrating — like the eating game — and there's probably the worst racing game...

A neat game with lots of movie references. If these 2 are your childhood heroes, you'll gonna love it.
