Fun game. Riding the bike feels good and throwing papers feels good though they are a bit heavier than i'd like. Riding past mailboxes and loading a paper into them without slowing down feels badass. The game plays EXACTLY like Paperboy on the NES which is great if that is what you are looking for. The game centers on learning the pattern of the level (when cars come, which houses have dogs) and delivering to an ever increasing amount of houses along the street. You eventually move on to new neighborhoods with new obsticles to learn. The game in its current form is very fleshed out and gives you a lot to do as long as you consider what the core game is. If you think delivering papers on a virtual bike is boring, this game won't change your mind. If you want to relive the days of delivering papers on your bike, or found Paperboy on the NES fun, it s quite good.

This game is Paperboy from the Nintendo/Sega days of classic game - but in VR. It's got some bugs still, and the movement can take a little getting used to, but it's a pretty awsome game so far that I expect to get my money's worth out of.

IMO, If you loved paperboy in the days of old, do yourself a favor and get this if you have a vive/oculus and the appropriate motion controls. I was expecting another failed attempt at stealing an idea from an old game, and not putting any work or love in on getting it right. It could've been an easy cash grab. But no, this game is great, has good graphics, the controls feel right, and it's challenging. The people who made this game love paperboy, you can tell and it shows in the entire presentation. I like how holding both the handle bars slows you down. Holding one lets you steer with that hand, and throw the newspapers with the free hand. I love this game. It's the perfect blend of nostalgia and gameplay that remembers where they are borrowing from, and do their best to put you there and like never before. 9/10

For better or worse, this game really nails that Paperboy feel. It is fun, quirky, and has a fairly steep learning curve. It was just as frustrating for me as the gameboy game, but over time I got better and started really enjoying myself. I'm looking forward to additional game mode(s), but so far I would say this is a fair amount of content for the price. The original Paperboy was probably 20-30 bucks. I'm having enough fun playing this that I might just go out and buy a second-hand excercise bike so I can have actual handlebars to rest my controllers on and that way I can burn some calories while playing and increase immersion. My compliments to the developers, this feels like a labor of love. https://youtu.be/opCwRQzPGTg

Loved the concept of this game, it just gave me motion sickness. If you have a strong stomach, it seems like it would be a blast. It just wasn't for me.

I loved paperboy when I was a kid. I hoped to relive those memories. The controls are so awful in this game I had to stop after a few minutes. Shame. Refunded. If the devs look at improving the way the bike steers I may return. I will keep an eye on it.

Stays true to the classic, including difficulty. Worth picking up at the price.

+Paper Boy VR +Nice Graphics -Way too buggy -Not enough areas 2/5 This game is exactly like Paperboy NES, if Paperboy was shorter, and unfinished feeling. I really want to be able to recommend this game. BUT A lot of times the rounds will start and the bike moved 3 ft ahead of where you originally were, when you grab the paper, it's hit or miss, sometimes you'll get it sometimes you wont. Until this game gets some updates, fixes some bugs, and feels like a finished game I can not recommend this.
