great game only downside there is no way to save progress so you will have to play this game in one sitting if possible

This is the PC DOS Port version of the game, and it has some differences from Genesis and Mega Drive versions. It is working with DOSBox emulator. Sadly, this is a very bad port. It is not optimised and the controls are so bad. It is making the game extra difficult to play and control.

The game is not optimized, it's just the same exact original DOS game bundled with the free DOS emulator DOSBox. Moreover, whenever I minimize the game then get back to it stutters and becomes unplayable until I restart it. All of this makes the experience of playing this game on a browser for free far better.

STILL BETTER THAN SONIC FORCES

Talk about nostalgia. I loved this game as a kid and I still love it. Frustrating sometimes with the commands not registering to the game, but it's not a huge deal.

The original game. I tried it, game resolution does not allow for full screen of most modern , wider screens.

Used to have a sega Genesis but no longer and I loved playing this game on it. It's different then my old version and I'm happy I'm able to play it again. Although I was able to beat his on my sega, I'm having trouble beating the desert zone. I want to get to the Genie stage, that was my favorite
