A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…

As Luke Skywalker and the Rebel Alliance struggle to defeat Darth Vader and the Empire, a new threat arises. Dark Prince Xizor, head of the Black Sun crime syndicate, aspires to take Darth Vader's place at the Emperor's side. To do that, he must eliminate young Skywalker. As Dash Rendar, it's up to you to protect Luke and help the Alliance defeat the evil Xizor. Watch out for infamous bounty hunters and deadly stormtroopers! May the Force be with you!

Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire (Steam) — A Retro Gem Worth Revisiting Booting up *Shadows of the Empire* on PC is like opening a time portal to the golden age of Star Wars gaming. Originally released in the '90s, this title still radiates the ambition and cinematic flair that made it a standout in the Expanded Universe. Playing as Dash Rendar, you’re thrown into a galaxy teeming with danger, intrigue, and classic Star Wars charm. The Steam version brings sharper visuals and full-motion video cutscenes that weren’t possible on the N64. The soundtrack? Still phenomenal. From the icy chaos of Hoth to the neon menace of Xizor’s Palace, the music elevates every moment into something epic. That said, the movement mechanics are undeniably a product of their time.
