Gorogoa is just one of those incredibly creative and mechanically unique, niche indie games that you feel like you have to revisit every few years. The puzzles are cleverly designed, that when you figure them out you get overjoyed instead of frustrated.

Impressive visuals (art, animations, scene transitions) and satisfying puzzles. The game makes you feel brilliant when you figure out the solution through well-placed pattern recognition.

I honestly loved this game! The art was beautiful, the game overall felt relaxing, and the puzzles felt unique and rewarding because it gets you to the next part of the story. I played through this a few times cause I love discovering all the hidden things and took my time before going for the final achievements I was missing. One thing to note if you're an achievement hunter and working on replaying for the end ones you missed (timed and finishing in a certain amount of moves) you might need to completely exit the game before replaying the story or the game won't register them. At least they didn't for me until I did.

Beautiful game, fun puzzles that make you think outside the box (literally). Short enough to play through in one sitting.

This is a beautifully rendered, calm, and richly imagined puzzle game. Each puzzle leads you deeper into the world through manipulating the scene with rewards of small animated scenes as you complete each segment of the puzzle. No stress, and there are hidden clues to the solutions to reward deep exploration so you won't ever get stuck. Highly recommended.

While I do not personally recommend the game, it may still be enjoyable if you play it for the art-style. The main reason that I do not recommend the game is that some (not all) of the puzzles are so far out that you can only discover the solution by trial-and-error. Those puzzles can really block progress. This is one of the very few games where I had to open up a walthrough for a few puzzles. The artwork of the game is really unique and - as mentioned earlier - worth it if you're into that kind of thing. The music is really relaxing and some of the puzzles are pretty fun.
