Starting the game running blind through dark tunnels while being chased by something that one shots you and not thinking to provide a checkpoint wasn't a great idea. I'm done. Better luck next time.

This is the perfect example of what NOT to do when making a game. I've made a video playing through this game, but read on if you wish. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FP_bbKUWrq8 Anguished is a game made in RPG Maker MV. And it shows. Forrest Keel uses a lot of the game's default assets, including tilesets and music, and used the built-in character creator for his characters. But enough about the assets, let's talk about the gameplay. The story is really shallow -- or at least, what little I've seen of it, since there's this chase scene literally two minutes into the game that is near-impossible to get past. Furthermore, there's a very limited range of view that makes the whole thing really tedious. It's like playing Mario Kart in near pitch-black with a steamroller on your tail. And the worst part is, they completely removed any way to close the game normally, forcing you to use ALT+F4. Long story short, don't buy this game, not for $0.99, not for 50 cents, not even for a...

This game is not as bad as everyone has made it out to be! I was able to figure out how to outrun the monster that 1 shots you and get rather far (get out of the cave maze far) now I have to figure out how to get through the outdoor maze and progress even further! I have some youtube videos up if any one wants to watch them to figure out the way out. They can be found at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHmPEMivTpg&list=PLEAM81OUOI2iA7EQaF-JA43FQBCKvyS9w

After a brief intro where you have to choose whether to kiss a woman, you wake up in a jail cell with only one way out. You must navigate your way through a labyrinth of hallways which you can barely see, while a monster is chasing you. If you pause for even a split second, the monster will catch and kill you. If you don't take exactly the right path (which you have to memorize by trial and error), the monster will get you. There are rumors that the game is pretty good once you get past this first phase, but after 12-15 attempts, I still can't vouch for that.

This game looked really fun but I should have the reviews first. Has a quick intro, you wander through a dark tunnel that you can barely see. If you stop for a second the monster comes out and kill you (really frustrating). The game doesn't have the options to show what controls to use. After 20 times trying to get past the tunnels its not worth to keep playing.

Terrible game. Don't even bother. It starts with a chase scene that is impossible to get past. Absolutely ridiculous.
