There is no doubt that what is presented here is absolute mad genius. If the developers weren't so completely whacked out, I've no doubt that this would be one of the top selling (and best) games on the Vive. However, what is presented here is fine as-is and serves as a slight, abliet infuriating, testament to their brilliance. Seriously guys, you need to focus your talent and develop this into a full-fledged platformer; you are sitting on gold here!

User Reviews
@developers : you shouldn't do so much drugs guys. But seriously, I loved it. It can use a bit more polish here and there, and there are some weird bugs, like when you leave the track and jump into the surroundings, but it's entertaining and weird and different and funny and sometimes very weird and very different. I'm not sure if you're going to further develop this (I hope so), because I like the idea of a warped, dark, crazy version of Lucky's Tale. Btw, I really loved the music.
A good game where weird stuffs happens. Nice graphics and play well on my 970, still some little flaws but the devs are reactive. Worth the try.
Short, fun, and entertaining. It's got a fat guy dancing telling you he's gonna eat you, rituals with growing bloody chickens, and lotsa toast! It's also got these trippy first person floating parts. It's a wacked out experience that can't be beat for the price.
Crazy stuff, really. It is a third person game, it has edges and glitches (but it does not crash and the glitches are only visual), it needs an Xbox controller ---if you can pick it up cheap like in this winter sale and if you like unusual stuff, pick it up-- it is sure one of the crazier titles for VR that I have tried so far. The audio is hillarious. The game has an early Tim Burton feel to it. Beetlejuice comes to mind.
This was actually pretty amazing. Its sorta like BeetleJuice on acid. Some of the cut scenes were breathtaking. THe 3rd person perspective was used very well. Sometimes dude is the size of a doll. Sometimes hes half the size of a human, and you are right over his shoulder, which was cool. And at the end he is super tiny, like quarter sized. This game has a lot of great ideas on where to take VR.
Vive review: As I bought Doll City I got this free. This is a crazy surreal third person game with some great point of view action, It's hard to explain what this game is about, but your dead and need to avenge your death and get something back, The scenes are just a bit crazy and it has to be one of the most wacko games on the Vive, up there with Albino Lullaby. It's very short and I had completed it quickly and you seem to be rewarded with a runner game where you need to pick up pumpkins, Once finished you unlock the levels to try again, It's good for the cheap price but would be better with lots of levels and more for the player to do, The game has no mechanics to use except jump run and use, Been nice to see some monsters as it's so creepy and some weapons to shoot them with, As it is it's great for free (thanks) but ok for the money, Its a cheap hours fun. (You need a controller and you can stand up or sit down)
pretty cool game. HTC VIVE user on a XBOX1 controller.
Hey guys, are you ever going to fix the broken game pade control on Doll City (last world where mother is found) since you do not respond on the Doll City message board. Do you care? Do I have more money to give you? BROKEN GAMEPAD CONTROLS!!! FIX THEM OR NO SUPPORT FOR FUTURE RELEASES!!!!! NO MORE 3RD PERSON CRAP!!!
What's even going on? I tried so hard to play this game and it seems like you've made it near impossible to even understand. I managed to get on the running part, which is just a continious bore. I tried the Story mode I guess thats what it is? and using the oculus rift, not sure if its just me but looking at the freaking floor at the small character and turning my neck is not comfy at all. Theres no way of turning camera views properly with the controller either? Like I said I tried so hard to get used to it but it just simply annoyed me
