About This Game

The year is 2027. The world as we know it is unraveling after fifteen years of economic meltdown and widespread global conflict over dwindling natural resources.
A once proud America has fallen, her infrastructure shattered and military in disarray. Crippled by a devastating EMP strike, the USA is powerless to resist the ever expanding occupation of a savage, nuclear armed Greater Korean Republic.
Abandoned by her former allies, the United States is a bleak landscape of walled towns and abandoned suburbs. This is a police state where high school stadiums have become detention centers, and shopping malls shelter armored attack vehicles. A once-free people are now prisoners… or collaborators… or revolutionaries.
Join the Resistance, stand united and fight for freedom against an overwhelming military force in Homefront’s gripping single player campaign penned by John Milius (Apocalypse Now, Red Dawn). Stand alongside a cast of memorable characters as an emotional plot unfolds in this terrifyingly plausible near-future world. Experience visceral, cinematic first-person shooter action as you fight your way across Occupied USA using guerrilla tactics, and commandeer military vehicles and advanced drone technology to defeat the enemy.
Multiplayer brings epic warfare to the online arena as infantry, tanks, attack helicopters and combat drones battle across huge, open battlefields. Very underrated military game I have ever seen. The storyline and level design are pretty good not unlike cod where kill and kill task. This game require strategy to attack your enemies which seems quite unique but I think overspawning enemies and not proper close corners to cover is bad actually. The game storyline is very short man really it is not worth to 1.2k rs . The gameplay is laggy and buggy. You can counter some technical issues also. The game is from 2011 but does not get good feeling of graphics so far it feels very odd . Overall game is average in my opinion ,the devs executed this project in poor condition dont forget the publisher company THQ was falling from 2010 and ended in 2013 sadly . There also good games of THQ like wwe, saints row, darksiders, etc. But this game was really different from other military games.I guess it could be better if the execution was done properly. Also if you thinking to buy this game for multiplayer then please dont buy because multiplayer is de...

Mediocre. The campaign is too short. The gameplay is average and has nothing interesting to offer.

"Homefront" is a run-of-the-mill Call of Duty knockoff with a typically bombastic campaign set within an interesting geopolitical premise that you can tell the developers intended to seem plausible. It's 4 hours long, has some memorable moments, and overall isn't bad. Your squad leader guy sounds to me kind of like a military dude voiced by a toned-down Trey Parker, and he shouts orders at you to do literally every little thing in the game from the beginning to the very end, which is sometimes amusing and sometimes annoying. ("Climb up here!" "Shoot that guy!" "You're taking too much damage! Move!", etc.) He has a great line while walking through a burning building with North Koreans inside: "I knew it smelled like Korean barbecue in here!". The game overuses the "wilhelm scream" which is also quite amusing. Don't buy this at full price, it goes on sale regularly for 90% off so pick it up and beat it over a weekend if you have a fondness for CoD campaigns from the late 2000's. It was g...

Shorter than your usual shooter but still kicks ass. Everything's solid, no major complaints other than making the main character incapable of opening doors without adult supervision. bro opens a door once the entire campaign it's almost comical
