About This Game

Alis decides to go on a hike one day, but comes home to find her younger sister brutally murdered! Overcome with grief and vengeance, Alis embarks on a mission to find her sister's killer by following the trail of bodies the murderer leaves behind. She must return the favor of death!
Interfectorem (which means 'killer' in Latin) is a murder mystery visual novel designed by a game dev team (called the "Team Who Must Not Be Named"), comprising of 4 middle school girls who won the annual Grand Prize at Girls Make Games Demo Day. The game went on to raise over $12K on Kickstarter.

Striking a delightful balance between humor and horror (think Nancy Drew meets Shaun of the Dead), Interfectorem will keep your attention from beginning to end!

Will you be able to solve the case and save yourself before it's too late?!

The characters are solid and intriguing, the artwork is enjoyable, and although the game as a whole is simplistic in nature and control, the story was original and interesting to follow! I can tell that the team put a lot of love and effort into this game. I would reccomend this to someone who wants to play a quick, simple, point and click story game with quality characters and a good storyline. This was a great game to play between homework breaks!

Short game but with fun characters, great artwork and an interesting story. It was simple and the tutorials gave me a good chuckle as did the constant fourth wall breaking. My issues with the game was there was a few bugs with the character portrait not appearing, the lack of music during the game and what felt like a very rushed finish. A lot more could have been done in terms of build up in the story and horror elements. Still, can't dislike it when I did enjoy playing through it.

First of all, I would like to say, that I do understand that this game made by teenage girls, and I do appreciate their work, it is a finished game, which is great - I only encourage you to do better. This is not a bad game per se, it just has bad dialogue, storyline, characters, and music (or the lack of it). If you would like to have an 1-hour simple point-and-click with nice artwork, then it's your pick. If you would like "a horrifying murder mystery", then no, go buy Umineko.

A beautiful game that is let down by a wonky story. A lot of the conversations you can have are filler with background characters and the murder mystery at the center of the story lacks almost any lasting emotional impact. A real shame considering how stunning the artwork is. I also had problems with loading save files.

I love this game , even I usually don't like this kind of game, I don't like read long dialogue, and it hasn't. I like get involved in the game, and there are many decisions you can make in these dialogues, I don't know which decisions I made will decide the direction of this story, and that's why I recomend this game, it's much much better than average level. Good Job!!!

Really beautiful art style. However, the writing and dialog is a bit boring, drawn out, and sloppy. I enjoyed the fighting aspect of the game, that was an interesting switch up for a game that presented itself as more or less a visual novel. I definitely think this is a good start for the creators of the game, however, story telling is a large aspect of a story rich game, so there is room for improvement.

It's a cute little game. Sure there is room to improve, but I love the artwork and I'm happy to support GMG. If you're looking for a quick and interesting point & click game give it a try.

I really liked the art style, but the story is meh, and the game is extremely short.

Interfectorrem is a short (~90 minute) point-and-click stlye VN about a teenage girl wrapped up in a supernatural event. Given that it was developed by (and presumably for) middle-schoolers, the story, art and chaacters are decent. The programming lacks polish - in places the dialogue text separates from its drop shadow, movement is largely menu based, and the sound mix is imbalanced, but none of those are game breaking. Overall, it's an enjoyable family friendly(ish) murder story and an opportunity to support some young talent.

This is not a good game. I'm not the target audience for this, but even if I were, this game is still bad. It's linear narrative game where the "narrative" is inane dialogue that often feels completely at odds with the context. The character art is nice and has a unique feel, whoever worked on it deserves praise. That's the only good thing I can say.
