This seventh visual novel from Zeiva Inc feature a gender-neutral protagonist Olea who had suddenly quit his/her job and decided to leave town and take a bus or walk towards a remote island village of Calcari Village which had been isolated for many years after a devastating earthquake and mudslide which caused many of its former inhabitants to leave the village and an ancient olive tree to wither and lose its leaves and flowers. As Olea settles into the village, Olea will meet Flori and Llima, two young adult girls who share their souls and visit the olive tree regularly in order to stay alive, a few minor supporting characters and 3 child spirits who will visit Olea in his/her sleep each night over 3 chapters(includes characters from Zeiva Inc's earlier visual novel Voices from the Sea).
In subsequent playthroughs in Beyond Nature mode after accumulating sufficient memory fragments, the child spirits will reveal themselves more fully and Olea will eventually acquire s...

I love Voices from the Sea, but this game does not quite live up to it's predecessor. There are about 3 hours of content here (being generous) but each "run" is only ~30 minutes long. I found it annoying to need to replay the game this many times to see subtle differences. The music is good but gets cut off frequently before the track can finish. The most notorious time this happens is during the "Day 2" title card, which awkwardly divides a tense scene in half. In general the pacing is a bit wonky. I believe there is a "true" route once you collect all 30 fragments, but I haven't been able to find the last one. The game offers no hint as to what scenes you are missing, and I've almost exhausted my patience. The story is good, but I would have honestly enjoyed it more as a properly paced kinetic novel. I hope Zeiva can learn from this title and mature as storytellers. Verdict: grab it during a deep sale.

I just bought this today since I was in a VN mood and I wanted something short. I read <sin>'s negative review and how he mentioned it being 3 hours at max. Unfazed by the negative review, considering that I wanted a short game to kill the afternoon, I decided to get it anyways to kill the afternoon. I am happy to say it was a good decision. The story, while quite short, is nonetheless interesting enough to hook you to want to see the 'true' end. The art is gorgeous. The music's not half-bad, but not such a strong point as the art. For such a short story, one negative point is how often you have to run through the entire game multiple times to get to the different choices. I would have liked an option that included an auto-skip rather than, "Hold the down arrow." But otherwise, it's well worth the price; though I payed a bit less since it was on sale. I will keep myself updated on the new games released by this studio.

This game is okay BUT I follow dev official guide, pick all the choice LITERALLY and still missing Fragment. Ofc I'm afraid that missing something so I DID replay the game for 2 times (2 route) before I contact the dev. But they seem sure that only because I did missing something. Well, no. How could I mistake when they number one by one each fragment? But they insist so ofc I replay and got the same result (that's the prof that I picked all the choice already). And NO SKIP FEATURE just killing me with all the clicking. And I didn't got my last 2 ending + side story because I'm missing Fragment (why did they force player to completed 100% to get side story and extra while they got no skip?) THAT'S IT! I won't buy any Zeiva game from now on until they add skip feature for their next game; or force player to completed 100% / master their mini games to unlock extra and stuff without contingency plan (if player can't master the mini games or if they got same problem as me).

It's pretty good. The story was interesting, the visuals good, and the writing didn't strike me as bad. My one problem is the price for what you are getting. There is not much there and it's hard to recommend for $10, or even $6. But as soon as a deep sale happens, you owe it to yourself to check this one out. PS, I didn't get all of the endings (I really only care about the true ending) because I saw that it wouldn't really take much time to see them all.

Natural - Beyond Nature Recommended Length: Very Short (1-5 hours) Number of Routes: 2 (multiple endings) Choices: Yes Failure Possible: Yes Character Rating: Pretty Decent Story Progression: Pretty Decent Chaotic Elements: Yes / Very Minor Music Rating: Decent Achievement Difficulty: 0 Additional Thoughts: Rather short but still decent. Ending path depends on certain choices, however its easy to keep getting the same two endings. The true endings are hidden behind seeing every choice and the other endings. There is no way to stop skipping if content is unread.

Far too many fragments to collect in order to get the true ending. Other than that, lovely: nice artwork, writing, and music. An odd situation where one small design decision, which could have easily been fixed on the developer's end, ruins the player experience very much. If you know what you're in for: picking up 30 fragments by replaying the game many times and making many different choices while remembering which ones you've already chosen, skipping through identical and nearly identical scenes over and over again in order to get a true ending which is very short - if you're fine with that, then the rest of the game is fine and I can recommend it. But it's too much of a blemish, unfortunately. Lovely in other aspects, though: just needed some tweaking on the developer's side. How about two or four fragments instead of thirty? There really don't need to be all those choices: only a few actually change anything of note. With that simple change, the VN would have been fine. Still love...
