Dead Rising with no timer? Really? Without the timer, the game doesn’t create the same pressure or urgency as the earlier entries. You can take your sweet time exploring the mall, hoarding the best weapons and healing items, and strolling into fights with zero concern about getting to your objective quickly. The fun of the previous games came from learning which routes to prioritise, which rooms to avoid, and when to conserve healing so you didn’t burn time restocking. Often, you were forced to take the risky, zombie-choked shortcut because there simply wasn’t time for the scenic route—and that tension was the point. The timer in the older games drove pacing, level flow, and player agency. It pushed you to keep moving, to triage resources, and to accept risk. Without it, the loop flattens: clear a zone at your leisure, and if your weapon breaks, wander off to fetch another with no real stakes. After a couple of hours, the “find weapon → kill zombie → heal” cycle start...

this game actually sucks its insane. I remember when it initially released i played and beat it thinking it was whatever but not too harmful, now after some time, coming back to try and replay this mess is just agonizing. Frank sucks, story is bad, writing is awful, and anything that made this series good somehow this game manages to do the opposite.
game came out ages ago and still crashes after every 5 minutes. capcom vancouver fucking blows
Dead Rising 4 – Video Game Review Platform: Xbox One, Windows PC | Developer: Capcom Vancouver | Release Date: December 6, 2016 Genre: Action, Survival Horror | Mode: Single-player, Multiplayer Frank West is Back… But Is It Worth the Trip? Dead Rising 4 brings back photojournalist and zombie-slaying icon Frank West, returning to the site of the original outbreak: Willamette, Colorado. On the surface, the game looks like a festive, blood-soaked holiday treat—complete with Christmas lights, absurd weapons, and hordes of undead. But beneath its slick presentation and sandbox chaos lies a controversial departure from the series' roots. Gameplay and Combat At its core, Dead Rising 4 retains the franchise’s signature style: combining over-the-top melee combat with wacky weapon crafting and large-scale zombie slaughter. The game expands the playground by offering a massive open world, numerous side quests, and hundreds of ways to decimate zombies, from ice swords to exo-suits. The ...
straight butt
I had to get all the achievement so i could uninstall this dumpster fire of game in the series. The original two games were instant classic but this is just industry/shareholder slop with so many glitches that could softblock your progress for achievements and make you restart a 100 hour grind. i had a good time with playing multiplayer with people i found on the discussion boards but only because they were funny and not the actual game itself. If you're a fan of the series, you can find the full game for like 10 bucks somewhere.
One of my favorite Dark Comedy Games.
fun game
Dead Rising 4 sticks to the formula—familiar, fun, but far from revolutionary Does not break new ground or redefine the series it refrains from introducing significant new mechanics or groundbreaking features, it remains a reliable and enjoyable addition for long-time fans(from a fan btw) If you loved the previous games I really enjoyed the third instalment , you’ll have a time here just a time as time passes you’ll think you shouldn’t have had that much time on this —just don’t expect anything dramatically new here ,play and leave I won’t be visiting back here until someone likes this or maybe ping me back here btw just started playing it I’ll be here for a while See yaaaa!)))))
