This is a delightful-looking point-and-click puzzle-adventure with clever puzzles and good music, and I'm still not recommending it. Short version: Awesome appearance, poor implementation: too many hit-this-pixel and timed coordinated actions to be pleasant. Pros: Adorable art Good thematic music Innovative puzzles Cons: Frustrating puzzles that make no sense Intro screens take too long to load, esp when returning to game Moving around is slow Some puzzles require exact pixel hits Timing is difficult in spots Save is by "scene," and some of the scenes are annoyingly long to get through No hint function The big "no" feature for me: In several puzzles, I couldn't tell what I was doing. I clicked on things; I could see something happening... but I couldn't tell if it was doing anything useful. Click, click, click... hey, that thing over there is turning purple; is that good? or a an irrelevant bit of "mood lighting?" Ok, it moves something, which is almost certainly a puz...

Mr. Shadow is really well-animated point&click game with a mildly sinister undertone. The game itself is not a traditional adventure but more like a cartoon that you have to push forward. Overall I thought there were many original ideas and unexpected moments. However, it does lack some features that I would like to see in a game like this. Some of the solutions to the puzzles are not something you could anticipate. I often found myself getting stuck and spamming only to find out some really weird mechanics by accident. It could really use something like the optional tip that would reset every 3 minutes. You can beat it without a guide which might take some angry clicking all over the screen. I kind of see it more like an aesthetic experience so getting stuck on one puzzle for 20 minutes is not ideal. Also, some of the basic mechanics could use improvement such as not being able to automatically hold items. Many point&click games do a highlighter for all interactive areas which...
Super weird and creepy, which is what I loved so much about it. The puzzles were unique and I found myself with a "are you serious?!?!" every time I'd figure one out. You definitely need to think outside the box to play this!
Great game! Similiar to Samarost 3. Loved it! :)
I loved the art and animation! its pretty hard but lovely.
A classic Point&Click game with an original art style (between beautiful and crepy).
The gameplay is just, click everything on the screen until something happens. There's no real puzzle solving to it. Basically every screen is a very abstract, convoluted web of players clicking one thing, to trigger another thing which lets them click another thing to trigger another thing and so on. It's just one long chain of events, but there's zero logic to any of those events. Players are just expected to mess around, clicking on everything and using everything on everything else until they randomly figure it out. It's not designed to be an intuitive or even comprehensible system of solving puzzles and using clues; the player is just meant to guess. This does this which allows you to do this and none of the this makes any sense to be connected in any sort of way. This only goes so far before the player runs out of options and the abstract pseudo-puzzles become so abstract that you can't even stumble onto their solution anymore without entire luck. Even looking up the solution i...
Amazing
I loved this game. It's quaint and charming with very dream-like imagery. Do the puzzles always make sense? No. Did I get stuck a bunch of times? Yes. Like a lot? Yes. But I did thoroughly enjoy playing it.
I was surprisingly satisfied. I truly enjoyed playing this game. Challenging but not too hard. Loved the art work, colors, setting, and sounds. Worth the price although I bought it for 50% off. I'd recommend to anyone who enjoys a point/click/drag puzzle style game.
