About This Game

** New LARGE update coming in 2022 ** We have stayed in EA for this long to wait for an equilibrium in mainstream VR now we have this we are working on a BIG update for this game. Bringing the graphics to 2022 along with gameplay to a lot higher standard.

Welcome to Demonic Guest VR.

Player position should be sorted out from current update, if not please let us know! NOTE: It is important with the HTC Vive to stay within the blue circle in the headset for the best experience

DGVR is designed to be an horror experience, this means there are NO controls, you enter the game a look around and try to survive the night.
Created in VR for the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift we put you in the room, where things are happening and there is nothing you can do about it!.

The story :

You wake in the night, strange things have been happening around your house and you have no idea what is lurking, is something coming for you? you have no idea.
Tonight is the night, you are locked in your room what will happen, is there an escape? so many unanswered questions and so little time.

The experience is in Early Access at the moment and runs for around 8 minutes. Although this time is short we are committed to updating on a regular basis adding new content.

In each update we move closer to adding controller support and a means of physically moving around the house essentially creating 2 games for a low price.

We would like to thank everyone who has purchased this experience and welcome any reviews good or bad as its YOU who will help shape this experience and upcoming game.

Scared me a few times, runs for around 5 minutes but its enough to put you on edge, hopefully the dev continues to add stuff to this because it looks like a solid project.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift
This is about a 6 minute purely cinematic 360 horror experience. There are no interactions. You don't need motion controllers (you can press R on your keyboard to recenter view). You're basically lying on a bed and all kinds of spooky / demonic things happen around you. The graphics are somewhat dated. The sounds were just passable. There are jump scares obviously. For .99 cents USD, this is an okay experience as long as you keep your expectations low. Comparing this to Face Your Fears (free on the Oculus), this experience is not even half as good. Rate 5.5/10. It's not horrible, but the production values were pretty low. Probably worth the .99 cents USD if you love cheap, cheesy horror experiences and just can't get enough of them (like me). You can view it here (but spoilers obviously!): https://youtu.be/Rybzo5gn_gI

First major point is im floating above the bed... at ceiling hight, which i think completey ruined the whole experience, other VR horror games i shit myself, and not ashamed to admit it, this one was full of too many cliches that i didnt flinch once, its a shame... i can see potential. The first "jump scare" with the guys randomly near the bed, was just confusing and maybe demon looking? summary: a lot of room for improvment, less cliche, actually in the bed not floating, more build up to one event, not 100 different scary things in one short VR

Having been using VR for a bit now and having immersed myself in various games, experiences, movies and endless internet searches for VR Porn, I have ended up making a couple of good new friends in the VR community. This project is the spawn of one of those people and their passion for gaming and more recently VR and the possiblities held therein. I have been watching this project develop and have to say that I am impressed with what I have seen so far. I paid for this happily as I feel it was worth the pennies to support the Devs (friends) and see where this goes. Like another review says, not bad for a cheap jumpscare at all. I properly shit myself at least 3 times and I have been watching this develop since the early stages. Just goes to show, you never really know what to expect these days however it is nice to get a surprise once in a while...Watch this space as I think these guys will be doing some cool stuff in the future, for me though, it`s back to searching for that elusive O...

I loved this! For 99 cents you get a solid experience with jump scares aplenty. There was one moment I thought was kind of cute, but then something happened right after. The worst/best part was being told to look in the direction a sound comes from. But basically it's a wee horror film where you are in bed and a demonic visitor comes to call. He's not the type to bring wine and roses but he does put on quite the show. Great fun!

You pay 99 cent and you get 1 minute and 45 seconds of gameplay. Sorry, not gameplay, viewing experience. Lol. It wasn't a terrible experience.
