This game really is better than it has any right to be. Steam Deck tip: set resolution to 2560x1600 and linear scaling; it still runs at 60fps but antialiasing is much better.

Lara Croft GO and the SteamDeck were made for each other (albeit 5 years apart)! Perfect pair up for on-the-go casual gaming! Completed it almost 9 years after its release but I don’t think I would have had the patience for this type of puzzle game if it were not for the SteamDeck enhancing its pick up and play nature. Even the touch screen came into use with some handy functionality in the menus! Simple yet great puzzle mechanics, that really make you think with a decent sense of accomplishment after completing some of the challenging ones. Very good background music that adds excellent ambiance and doesn’t get annoying or too repetitive. BEST on SteamDeck, but if you at least have a simple laptop or some other way to play it portably, I would highly recommend! Otherwise just add it to your library whenever you can score it cheap on sale and hope you can make time for it’s charm on your desktop!

Though not as nerve wrecking as other of its siblings, Tomb Raider Go has been a fun game with a pleasant and relaxing soundtrack. The puzzles themselves range from straight-forward to moderate difficulty in most cases, so I had to use the hint feature, that the game comes with by default, only once. It's not too lengthy either and I was able to complete it in around seven hours. Would recommend to fans of Tomb Raider as well as puzzle platform games alike!

I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I decided to get it since it was on sale for less than a dollar and didn't have very high expectations for it, but it is a cool little puzzle game that gets you to think. If you aren't into puzzle games you probably will not enjoy it and should pass, but if you are into puzzle games it's worth getting once it goes on sale. I read the controls are pretty bad if you don't have a controller; I have an xbox controller and had no complaints. Tried using the mouse for a couple seconds and it seemed god-awful...like you had to click and drag for every move I think. Overall it was a pretty fun game. The main game isn't very challenging, but the two levels meant to be played afterwards (The Cave of Fire & The Mirror of Spirits) can be a little tricky. Nothing too crazy, but it does require you to think outside the box.

I love the design, the music, and the puzzles. However, I wish I could jump to different levels instead of having to go through them sequentially. This would make it much easier to find the hidden vases.
