Enjoyable sequel to the first Guacamelee, being another Metroidvania game with new story, increased puzzle complexity and improved visuals Based around luchador culture in Mexico, visual style is taking inspiration from lots of Mexican patterns and animals - very bright and colourful Combat and exploration gameplay is still smooth and responsive, although the requirements for the harder challenges do require quite a bit of skill and timing - controller is highly recommended Achievements can be done in 2 playthroughs - all except the "beat Hard Mode" and "get all achievements" can and IMO should be done in the first Normal Mode playthrough
