I had high hopes for this. The guy talking is really annoying and unecessary, the experience is OK. The falling is the best bit. Far far far too expensive, and overall Richie's Plank Experience is way better value and fun. I will be looking for a refund unfortunately

This is a neat little experience, emphasis being on the word little. It's over very quickly, no options to extend the length of the plank, but it DOES look beautiful and the sense of presence is great. That said, it's vastly overpriced for what it is. It lasted less than three minutes. I would have paid 79p for it had I known how short it is. Put it on your wishlist and wait until it's significantly reduced. It's a great thing to introduce people to VR for the first time. Richie's Plank Experience is far better. And cheaper.

I do not recommend this game at all mainly due to the fact you pay $8+ for very little content. Pros:

City environment looked amazing.
Elevator ride to the top of the building you jump off didn't make me sick. (elevators usually cause simulation sickness)
If you strap the motion contollers to your feet then you can see in game feet models moving which helps the immersion a bit.
Cons:

Literally three minutes of game play. (might be able to get more if you are very afraid of heights)
Not enough content to justify spending $8. (this is the on sale price as well)
After jumping off the building I started to feel sick immediately.
leg tracking, thats cool. (even with the ladies modeled feet). Sense of high well done. falling at the end was done poorly, it leads to a knot in your gut. its about 2 mins of fun. maybe 3 mins if you take your time.

The experience is good but be prepared to use it 2 times and then it force-close saying you need a commercial license. Basically, never invite friends/parents to play it or forget to shut it down after you tried or you'll be blocked. It's not worth the money. Gonna ask for a refund if they don't fix the problem.

I have a fear of heights which i am now coming to terms with because of simulations such as THE WALK. Not only do they de sensitise you to high places but they greatly help to develop spacial awarness which I have found is a big part of the acrophobia thing. High places that used to send me into a panic do not scare me anymore which is a fantastic feeling. Maybe develop it so that you can walk over and climb on girders like the people who build sky scrapers and bridges etc, if you do i will be a regulare user.

Thought short, The Walk was a very intense experience for me. I don't think I've ever been this scared while playing a game. I have a fear of heights, and this was the first VR game I decided to try after receiving my HTC Vive. Not a good idea, I was so scared that my hands were shaking, I was sweating like crazy and I had sit down on my living room floor. It actually took me 3 tries before I could complete The Walk, but after I did I felt pretty proud of myself for facing my fear. I would definitely recommend this game, especially if you don't like heights that much. Great adrenaline rush!

Guess i didn't read that for 5 bucks you only get to play the game for 3 rounds before it forces a 60 minute break. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

After a few minutes of play with friends, we got a message that said, "This product not intended for commercial use. Wait 59 minutes to play again." You might expect something like that for a free game, but not after paying five bucks.
