The award-winning Life is Strange series continues with an all-new story from DONTNOD Entertainment.

After a tragic incident, brothers Sean and Daniel Diaz run away from home. Fearing the police, and dealing with Daniel's newly manifested telekinetic power – the power to move objects with your mind – the boys decide to travel to their father's hometown of Puerto Lobos in Mexico for safety.

Suddenly, sixteen year-old Sean is responsible for Daniel’s safety, shelter, and teaching him right from wrong. As Daniel's power grows, it’s up to Sean to decide the rules by which they live. Keep the power secret, or use it to help them in their journey? Beg, borrow, or steal? Reach out to family, or stay hidden?

As Sean, your choices shape the fates of the Diaz brothers, and the lives of everyone they meet.

From Seattle, to Portland, to California... through gas stations, abandoned shacks, backstreets and forests... the road to Mexico is long and filled with danger – but also friendship, wonder, and opportunity.

This is the trip that could bond Sean and Daniel forever… or tear their brotherhood apart.

Key Features:
Award Winning Story-Telling
Daniel is always learning from Sean – and what you teach him has far-reaching consequences.
Stunning visuals and hand-painted textures.
Emotive original soundtrack from Jonathan Morali, composer of the original Life is Strange - plus licensed tracks from Phoenix, The Streets, Sufjan Stevens, Bloc Party, First Aid Kit, and more.

I’ve played Life is Strange 1 a couple of times because I really enjoyed it, so why not buy this game? Life is Strange 2 hit me on an entirely different level. I didn’t expect to connect with it as deeply as I did, but honestly, I love this game even more. It tackles deep, real-world topics like racism, trauma, and identity, and pairs them with powerful metaphors like the literal act of moving on. The storytelling is subtle but incredibly effective. You feel the weight of every choice and action, and the game shows you constantly that those choices matter. And it actualy does, I am so happy with te amount of endings Life is Strange 2 has. The characters are great and add just what they need to to the story, and there’s so much depth to the main characters. Daniel can be little annoying sometimes, but only because he’s such a well-written kid. He reacts the way a child in a terrifying situation would; confused, scared, defiant. Sean is a fantastic protagonist. He’s not a ...

As a big brother myself, I really connected with Sean's mindset and the way he always tried to protect Daniel, no matter what. The bond between them is well written that it feels real. This game shows harsh realities like racism and bullying which makes Sean's struggles hit even harder for me.Episode 3 is my favorite, the forest, big trees, and the freedom of nature makes so beautiful along with new friends for Sean added warmth for the roadtrip Sean and Cassidy moments together in the lake felt like a break from from all the struggles he was facing. My ending with Sean and Daniel finally made it to Mexico together, felt like the perfect reward after all those struggles they have been through,Life Is Strange 2 is a beautiful and emotional story about family, friendship, love and surviving the harsh realities of life. 10/10

To be honest I'm dissapointed by this game. Not only how poor power of the Daniel was but how it's all been developed. No one cares about Sean except later events in the dessert. Only repeating how he have to be the adult one and protect brother and such. The game forces you to put priority of Daniel's happy first no matter what. That's stupid, Sean deserves way more. To more technical stuff - damn, this game bugged more than I expected, just because I moved a bit too quickly from the place, cause I didn't hear the next dialogues starts... like wtf, I had to reload checkpoints few times, that was annoying. Anyway, for me this game is kinda 5/10. It touches tough topics and they're showed without feeling that they're forced too hard, but overall the story wasn't that great for me. It had some good moments, but a lot of choices were forced to get it Daniel's way and I don't get it how people love his character. He was such annoying brat, that I would leave behind if it was an option in e...

This game got a lot of undeserved flak for not being linked for no Max and Chloe, but as it's own game it's just not good. They tried some new ideas for the formula but for me it just doesn't work. -The plot feels contrived the characters jumping from location to location doing stupid stuff for very stupid reasons. I get the MC is a kid but still. There are a few high points like the church which are legitimately cool and interesting. At points it feels like a slog to get through, a tighter story would've helped massively. The game doesn't draw you in like the first game did probably because rather than solving a mystery you're just running away. -The 5 episode structure doesn't help, some episodes massively overstay their welcome and some parts feel like padding, if maybe 30% of the game was cut it would probably be much less of a chore to play through. I've played through LiS and Before the Storm multiple times but this game is too much of a slog to ever replay. -The player doesn't ...

I originally played this on PS4 after watching a youtuber play through half of it themselves so i can safely say ive always liked this game. Its not quite as good as the original but it does evoke much more emotion. Ive seen all the endings and they all leave me feeling quite bleak. The poor boys get thrown in it no matter what choices you make. A very good game and thought provoking, just wish there was a proper good ending where both Sean and Daniel get to live their lives as they should have.
Not even half quality of the masterpiece the first LiS is.
The story, the moral, the bigotry, hatred, racism, religious/cult themes, (all delicate) could have been good, but the pace of the game really ruins everything. I feel the game was stretched unnecessarily. 5 boring chapters that could have been 3 great. Is like watching a very, very slow pace movie, with little meaningful interaction. I fell asleep countless times "playing" this game. Choices make little to no difference at all, a LOT of dialogs and notes are useless, and the constant pushing on sexual orientation of couples or characters was totally unnecessary. Despite it, several characters were indeed very good like Stephen, Cassidy, Finn, Anton... even Karen. I would not recommend it, but if you already have it you may give it a go.
